Hows your snook doing? I just purchased one for my 55 gallon tank and his tank mates were beating up on him a lil bit. I isolated the snook in its own tank and it seems to be doing better. The 55 has a jag cichlid, red devil, convict, and a jack dempsey, any suggestions on how to get the snook back in the 55 without the other fish taking a toll on my snook.

Nice! I catch gars here in the Everglades but they do not look like this. I have also caught knife fish with a net. What is the other fish fighting? A snook to me is the one with the black line along the side. Unless the fish has that name, I do not know what it is.

The BAy Snook is a petenia splendida.
The Clown Knife in Australia cost me $550 AUD.
Eventually I got rid of the snook because I wanted harmony in the tank.
I would suggest perhaps when doing your next water changed rearranged your whole tank and then placing the snook back in before refilling it.
After that they will all try to assert there new territory and hopefully will help the snook find a place in your tank.
