  • id be quite angry if i spent that money on the plane and it doesnt even come with steerable tail wheel

  • Nice

  • whats the story with the ghastly cowls and thrust angles

  • Keep this format of reviewing! love it!

  • @stephenopoly Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video.

  • pete, that other aisan guy,and you all fly at the same park!!!

  • wait what if you get enough speed to drive across the runway then you just make that turn thingy to hit left or right then you turn?

  • Hey Pilots!...This one just made to the Porch....The first thing I wanted to check out was the rear wheel ass. It looks like they made the MOD! Not a Peace of floop around plastic wheel.

Not bad...Still beleave I will hook up to the ruder surfo. Has any one put this to test yet?

  • could you safely run a 14.8v lipo battery in that? or would you need bigger esc's?

  • dc3?

  • @airbusa380andsas No... C-47 Skytrain

  • @MrJp990 what is the difrense the c-47 skytrain and a dc3.

the c-47 is a milletary version of the dc3

  • @airbusa380andsas C-47 had different controls, different interior, and better instruments.

  • @airbusa380andsas You also spelled "difference" wrong.

  • @MrJp990 i know im danish but i have heard that it was a Military version of the DC3 i dont know :)

  • @airbusa380andsas Its ok.

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • i like trains

  • @mrqwerty20001 yes,you most certainly do

  • Tony, Great to see you include the slow speed speed and stall characteristics. I have been wondering why you didn't include this before in flight reviews. As you know, any real pilot wants to know these characters of a plane they are flying as these are the areas that will end your day real quick if you don't know.

Nice review. This plane will do alot more than the original. The real C-47's were slow and would not hold altitude on one engine, let alone do any aerobatics. Original at Travis AFB

  • cool vid. nice dc 3 with inv.stripes and everything.

  • What's with all the down thrust in the motor mounts?? Looks ugly..

  • I like this guy better!!! Great flight and great plane.

  • hello Antonio i would like to ask if dynam will release the metal propeller hubs as a spare part or an upgrade as i own the skybus would be much better than the plastic spinners that came with it.As i can not find any information on spare parts for this transporter version Many Thanks

  • I Have the civilian decals one

    and it fly's really nice

the turns need a bit of attention because it can soon tip one wing and stall completely

but luckily there is enough power to pull out quick

over all a great scale model foamy

    10/10 for dynam

  • this plane is so cool where can I buy it ?

  • what is that at 7:09 gun fire?

  • i meant where u fly at

  • where do fly at

  • Learned a lot from vid.

the written instructions on motor fail-safe switch on TX was confusing--Tony cleared it up.

This is next best thing to taking a plane on a test flight

Are you going to do another with more landings/

    Walt

  • best landing

  • Would this be a trainer aicraft.

  • I'm cool with the new review style. Thanks.

  • Hi Antonio,

Yes! I really do like the format of the flight review. Also, your commentary is really helpful, as well. You are a natural test pilot and I'm looking foward to seeing more flight reviews with you in the future. Also, I think that some flight comparisons with Tony would be helpful, as well. Everyone is different, and input from two different pilots presented in the same review would really step things up for Nitroplanes and ultimately benefit all your patrons.

  • what about replacement parts

  • were did you get that

  • NICE Landing. Excellent approach. Many people underestimate the importance of the throttle and the approach in landings. Good job.

  • That c-47 is more like a warbird plane, it looks very maneuverable and fast :P~

  • Good video and presentation.....

The flight looked fast for the C47 look but handled well.... don't know about the wing loading but looked like it could slow a little more on the landing before droping a wing and/or......!! Very enjoyable and good looking bird... for sure...

  • Great plane !

can i use my DSM (DM9) transmitter module in Mx-22 to fly that great maschine ?

    Greetings from Germany

  • nice flight , but can you tell me the average speed on full throttle

  • Antonio,

How much aileron and elevator throw were you using? I have the dial on my RX set to about 50%. Also, did you place the battery all the way forward? Was your CG at the recommended 60-65mm from the leading edge, or did it come out slightly further back. Mine is around 75mm and it stil seems nose heavy.

  • When/if you ever open up a store over here in the UK or Europe i'd buy of you boys all the time, so start working on it and i'm sure you will have loads more custom ;-) great flying and such a sweet looking bird = thumbs up.

  • I watch all your reviews, I think they're great. 1 constructive crit.. when you describe the battery.. e.g. 2200mah 30C. Also maybe mention if it's 3S, 4S, etc? If it's in another part of the video, great but also right where the battery is described would be ideal. Sometimes I skip forward and would be nice to know if new batteries are required.

    thx

  • @notasixpack will do thxx man :)

  • Nice looking plane. It seems to handle pretty well also. I agree with some of the other posts, retracts are the only thing holdin this back from being a very nice kit.

  • i liked tony more than antonio you cant even here is name good

  • new tony rulez!

  • @catamaranman333 thxx glad you enjoy the reviews :) you guys be sure to check out b-25 she is in stock !!! :P

  • well .. they can deliver .. will they buy //

    tony is chilling ..

  • Nice plane Antonio. i would like to see a Heinkel he 111 in that scale.

  • Nice demo. Flying is fun.

  • I love the new format!! Thanks

  • On the full size C-47 /DC-3 the tail wheel only casterd . The Pilot used the brakes and engine tork to turn on the ground. Great looking plane all you need is some plasic paratroopers.

  • it the same as the white one but for more money. these planes arent that hard to paint the way you wunt them.

dynam sould add the tail servo to this bird.

a bird this size really needs a tail wheel.

  • Excellent demo, I may buy one but I do not like the the way the cowls point downward.

I've always been a fan of "Puff the Magic Dragon", I was in the Air Force at the time the AC-47 came into being.

  • @carlosmurphy4u the reason they point down is bc of the down thrust put into it for it to fly leveled at full speed. its design thing that had to be put in :)

  • Excellent review Tony! I prefer this style review! Ho yeah, sweet plane!

    5/5

  • @mythicalhell thxx man be sure to check her out on our website b4 she goes outta stock

  • The cross controls you are describing is a skid. It is not a coordinated turn and could result in the low wing stalling first resulting in a snap. After saying that you never slow the plane down so you don't get in a critical condition. Student pilots are taught not to skid the plane. A skid is opposite to a slip which is used to loose altitude and for cross wind landings. I think the plane flew to fast for scale.

  • @Eugensdiet you are 100% right on that on a full scale plane we call those skids and yeah they are meant for when you comming in hot and high on final they will make you loose altitude quickly. in the Rc world i learned it as "cross control " thats wat everyone calls it that i know. and to my surprise these rc models dont fly like the full scale,

  • @XHELIBIGT , I'm a flight instructor. Skids are a dangerous maneuver because the low wing can stall. This results in a snap. Slips on the other hand is where the plane is banked and then opposite rudder is applied to keep the plane from turning and are used to you keep a plane lined up with a centerline in a crosswind condition. Slipping is OK. Skidding is not.

  • @Eugensdiet @Eugensdiet they fly very similar but not the same exact tendencies. i think its bc the thrust to weight. you can see in the video when i "cross control" it didnt really loose altitude like a full scale one did all it did was make it look flat and smoth haha :)

  • @XHELIBIGT Skids cause the plane to turn flat and this is fun to do when flying 3D but it is not a full size plane maneuver. Typically what can happen to a student pilot is he becomes a little nervous about banking the plane more as he is turning final so he kicks in rudder. On many planes the low wing gets masked by the fuselage and looses airflow and the wing abruptly drops. This is bad news if you are a couple hundred feet up. Full size planes like the Ford Trimotor fly nice using the rud.

  • @Eugensdiet yeah you right on that i remember when my instructor was teaching me those :)

  • Nice Video.

  • Needs a steerable tailwheel, retacts and some cargo to drop! The aerobatics were cool but for a scale bird not something you would see the Gooney Bird do!

I agree more touch & goes would have been nice. Are there any three blade pusher props the same size so one could do counter rotating props on this one?

Great review Antonio, I like your format.

  • @bakerrv Looks like we forgot to edit in the touch and goes, next time :)

  • @bakerrv i dont think we sell any it would have to be another company :(

  • Where is Tony?

  • @runway34r Tony is currently on Vacation, he will be back soon

  • It needs to be bigger. I have issues with scales like it used to bug me when I was a kid and other kids would play / mix different scale toy cars together. It's not right to mix different scales. God would disapprove of its scale LOL.

  • I find this format much better. Excellent presentation.

  • I like the format. I am a full-scale pilot as well, so I appreciate the presentation. Definitely keep doing the reviews this way.

  • i realy like this new format very informative THANKS.

  • Love the new format, very professional ;)

  • Such a classical plane!

  • Is tony sick? I mean the other tony.

  • @ShaggyParent12 nope, currently on vacation. He will be back soon

  • @ShaggyParent12 on vacation :)

  • @ShaggyParent12 on vacation :)

  • what a nice looking plane, like it already the only thing i miss a little for such a cool plane arr retracts, im sure it could take the extra weight ...and very nice review Antonio, really like that you guys show it in all flying conditions, like fast and slow flying, stalling and so on...that give beginners and intermediate pilots a much better view of what to expect from a model before buying it...keep going guys

  • @WarbirdFan66 thxx glad you guys liked that :)

  • Review was great, and I do love the tail draggers. Awesome looking plane.

  • love the new format, and this plane ticks all of my boxes.roll on spring

  • That is a great looking plane. It looks real when it's up in the air. You did a heck of a job flying and landing it.

  • Where the hell is tony???

  • You did a great job Tony! And for those that were wondering, the "as well" count was 14.

  • @BurelPhotography haha thank you as well LOL!!! :P

  • 1st Mod, Dens Connector.

Awesome you are listening to the YT Community. Showing the Stall characteristics is a +

Looks like it flys nice slowly, Scale turns looked flawless, Also flys fast.

Defiantly something to look into when Spring rolls around.

  • he keeps changing who he is talking about "I did a good job on the stickers" "THEY added aluminum hubs" "We did not make it functional". don't get me wrong I like your videos, I just want to know who actualy built it. was it you? did you help?

  • @coatduck i said they did a good job on stickers and hubs, by they i mean dynam. and we meant tony and I. i will be a bit more clear next time sorry :)

  • Thank you very much for showing us the stalling characteristics . High five dude.

  • @lewandlo glad you liked it man :)

  • New Tony is better...

  • @catamaranman333 aww dont say that man tony is just as good as a pilot as i am :) trust me

  • Given the scale of the plane, you would think they would have put retracts in it.

  • Great video and plane. And its not that I have a problem with Anotnio, I kinda like his reviews better, but wheres Tony?

  • You should do more landings in the video

  • I liked the way you presented the model! Stalls, low speed, aerobatics, etc..

  • Hey Tony, Do you think this model is capable of being hand launched? I don't have a runway or smooth grass field where I fly.

  • @zighearts The model has counter rotating props so there is no torque to deal with; I hand launch most of my models, I'm sure this would do just fine.

  • @zighearts yeah no problem at all

  • great video!

  • oh and also when will you guys be flying the f4u corsair from airfield? I cant wait to get it =)

  • @52kyt as soon as we donr with ama show i hope :)

  • @XHELIBIGT when will that be?

  • dont like it....the plane it's self isint really nice.....i like the b-25 u bot looks cooler

  • @flyingchimp99 b-25 is now in stock just came in :)

  • @XHELIBIGT not like ill buy that.....not a fan of nitroplanes. I prefer e-flite and parkzone and hangar 9

  • @flyingchimp99 i am so so so sorry to hear that :(

  • wheres tony?

  • @52kyt tony left the company and is making helicopter shaped wall art ..

  • @420choky lol

  • @420choky Tony owns the company. He is now in trade negotiations with North Korea. They claim they can really deliver the merchandise.

  • @jauchiu , Your joking.

  • @Eugensdiet Yes I am.

  • why dont both tonys doa review together

  • what camera do u guys use?

  • Looks much better than the 1st version!
