TF2 Tutorials: How to disable Steam Cloud Synchronization

I didnt uncheck it, But i lost all of my items.Help me please?

I use a left and right handed config depending on whether or not I am trying to improve my ambidexterity. I made a nice applescript to allow me to switch configs with the click of a button. This was driving me nuts erasing my configs!!! Thanks for this tutorial!

If you disable the steam cloud, do your stats still get saved? Steam had been laggy as hell last few weeks and my proc's running at 100% the entire time, which only makes sense if Steam is using my system as a cloud computing node for a third party client's work

@Gwenlaen Yes, the cloud is just for storing game saves and such for easier portability

@mummibumba that casue steam cloud is kind of broken, after last day update, u will have to run in offline to get the game to work!!

I am moving out to a town that I dont get internet. is this able to disable any game? I never thought about stupid internet being a problem. Ive used steam for 2 years or so but now im afraid ill lose all my games and its a bunch of them!
