In the opening scene when Heather first gains the weapon and kills the monster thats nomming on a body, thats Angela Orosco(from SH2)-not to mention Travis Grady from Origins takes the main character to his hometown in SH homecoming...

@royalkingmatt I think it's when you immediately enter the alternate hospital(after that ladder), in normal and easy mode there should be no enemies in this level but you hear your radio goes off, Heather should be looking at that direction too when you get near the edge. turn right and you can see it

Next time when you enter the 3F right after the shift to the Otherworld: climb the ladder where you see Valtiel with the valves, pass the door at the top and look at your right, making zoom if you have the pc game. There is the guy draggin' that poor nurse.

the Book of Lost Memories interprets it as Heather coming back to life every time you load the game. as far as the actual storytelling goes I don't think she actually dies at any point, but the Book's interpretation is still a cool way to look at things.

Pyramid head is based on the Valtiel character...

the only differences are the SWORD and the head, everything else is the same. Anyway, Valtiel's name is derived from the word 'valet', and the -el suffix is from ang-el. His duty is to ensure the birth of god, somewhat of a guardian angel :)

Valtiel is a creature who is "Servant of God" or something like that. He assures that God is born correctly.
