there was a piano? i couldn't hear it for the sheer AWESOMENESS of the violin :P i just bought my first violin yesterday and really hope i can play like you some day :)

@StephanieValentin lol you're welcome :) and i've been playig guitar for about 9 years now lol, it's actually helped me just thinking of the violin fingerboard as a tiny fretboard and i'm picking up the positions fairly quickly, it's just controlling the bow i have trouble with lol, doesn't help that it's a very cheap 3/4 with pretty terrible tone lol, and i'm 6 and a half feet tall so it's a little awkward playing such a small violin :/ but good luck with guitar too anyway :)

@hXc232 Thanks ;-) For the bow, use only the weight of the arm and try to feel the intersection of the violin and bow to make a good sound. The little finger is used to counteract the action of the index.

@StephanieValentin thanks for the advice :) wish i had some advice lol, but you should pick up guitar fairly quickly, it's also tuned in perfect fifths so it is quite similair to the layout of the violin, but once again, good luck with guitar, it's brought me many happy years :) and like you i also love playing the folk music of my heritage, which was my main reason for picking up a violin in the first place x

sorry but it's a confusion. it's not romanian music; it's a russian gypsy theme and the confusion appeared because the romanian gypsy wanted to be called "rrom". So, the right appellation is rrom (, gypsy, zigeuner, zingari) music. Anyway you are a great artist and hope to listen you playing Enescu on violin (romanian composer ). Congrats..:)

I don`t know if this is `real`gypsy music, but, I do know that I love what I`m hearing! :)

It is Gipsy music , Csardas (Chardash) sounds diferent. The rithm its absolutely Gipsy, noone else in the wolrd can dance at this music only gipsys:D. Its not a traditional one but its 100 % gipsy. These days in hungary and romania, folcloric (traditional) musics are played only by gipsys , becouse they are the only ones who can play that virtuos way on an instrument, at least in these 2 countries.
