information society: here, in Brazil we miss you so much. LONG LIFE TO ALL OF YOU. You inspired too much people to learn music and play their first keyboards at the 80´s in my country.
In 2006, it was announced that Paul Robb and James Cassidy had decided to reconvene Information Society, initially without Kurt Harland's full participation in the recording process. [3] Harland's absence in the studio line-up was cited as being due to family and work obligations. Harland ultimately contributed lead vocals to one track, "Seeds of Pain."
The new lineup included Christopher Anton as lead vocalist and co-writer for several tracks from Oscillator and Synthesizer.
I like this tune a lot. Got a great hook. He's got a much better grasp of his voice and vocal technique than he did in their earlier work... then again Autotune tech is better than it was in 89 haha
hi gabriel at 2:02 you saw a robot developed by u.s. military its known as big dog, it has advanced balancing systems and behave pretty much like a real animal.. they dont fall down even after a soldier comes runing and kick it, in the near future they will start mounting guns on this things.. very scarry
I love Christopher Anton and his work on "Synthesizer" is great, but this song is pretty cheesy. I can't believe Mr. Anton co-wrote this. Chris please give us more solo stuff!!!!!
This video was made in the fall of 2006 and is included on the OSCILLATOR EP released in 2007. OSCILLATOR and the new full length CD SYNTHESIZER are currently available at the InSoc Shop on the official website (the link is on our YouTube channel page).
Got the new CD "Synthesizer", It's sweeeeeet! Chris Anton has a decent vocal style. Kurt did a track on it too -"Seeds Of Pain"- love it. Would have liked for Kurt to have done at least TWO tracks though. -I LOVE the way you werk it!!
That video would've been so much better if my clip wasn't in it! LOL, j/k! 13tongimp did a great job putting that video together. I love it! (except for the part where my clip appears)

it truly has that Paul Robb sound.. Robb produced Noel's record to which sounds something like Running and Werk It.

Either or. It all sounds like early 90's hardcore to me. Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam anyone? haha

That's NOT Kurt. That's why the voice is different. He did not re-join the group until more recently, after this came out.

I think this song is pretty hot. And really not 80s at all except in a retro way; sounds like something I would bust a serious move to.

I guess to each is own, I think their '92 album Peace And Love, Inc. is brilliant. =)

So is this a new song? I hope Kurt got permission from Juan Atkins to use that sample from "Clear".

This is a new song, you can check it out on the official InSoc site - up there on the website link to go to it! :) It's on the new EP, Oscillator.

Do you think Juan Atkins got permission from Kraftwerk (the sample is from "Hall of Mirrors")?
Edward3D 4 years ago
Ahhh that's why it always sounded so familiar. Jeeez I guess every 80's electro artist sampled Kraftwerk lol.
