Actually, Advent Children was BEFORE dirge of cerberus. DoC is After A.C. Cloud is not from crisis core - Zack is. Cloud is from FFVII because FFVII was his main game feature. Crisis Core focuses on the events between Zack and Shinra. You dont have to do alot to understand this movie, just have decent knowledge of ffvii.

Actually, I think it has to do with all those swords he carries with him everywhere... If I'm not mistaken, most of the weapons and armor in the game could have materia attached... If he carries all of those swords with him and combines them into one big sword, that's a lot of materia... The others only use one weapon each, so they obviously don't have as much materia... :)
