You have to install the certificate on your 4S then make dictation. When you make a dictation letters should start appearing on your screen. If you installed Westbaer's fork that Chpwn mentions in his blog post (the thing Jeff said was step 9) then you should be able to get Siri on your older devices. Remember the proxy has to be on when you want to use Siri, and you have to repeat the 4S dictation step every 24 hours to get the auth codes onto the proxy. You can't use the proxy outside.

To everyone who asks for windows, yes it's possible, but you have to install ubuntu alongside windows and run the proxy on ubuntu. It's really straight forward, and even I, having never used ubuntu before, was able to get SiriProxy up and running in a day booting ubuntu from my windows 7 computer.

@wbbruin20 This is a local only installation. If you want to use Siri over 3G or on foreign Wi-Fi on your non-4S device, you can setup a dynamic DNS on your virtual machine installation so that you can access Siri Proxy from anywhere. That is beyond the scope of this particular tutorial.
