@DasDunklerFuchs There's a rumor saying that in that beginning sequence that you are actually Joseph Schreiber (one of the 21 sacrements victims and the guy who lived in apartment 302 before Henry) before he was murdered by the Ghost of Jimmy Stone (another victim), who was believed to be the ghost coming out of the wall.

I figured the reason why Joseph kept most of his mind and didn't look like the other ghosts was because he wasn't directly killed by Walter... he died from ghost-induced headache (of all things) in his apartment, and that beginning scene was that happening.

its at the begining of the game, where u start in the dream and the room is covered in rust and blood. more accuratly, its where the text is explaning the problem in henry's room.
