I am really surprised Schnauzer are usually not good with small children but I love schnauzers!!! they are so cuddly, very affectionate and very smart!.
you must teach him when the dog is eating don't disturb, it can be very danger cos it's will bite you even you are the owner. I have tried that long time ago.
LOL Reminds me of when my son was still crawling and would feed the cat - and himself. It'd be one for you, one for me, one for you, one for me. Funny thing is that if another cat was even within view of Shadow when he was eating he'd growl and get all uppity about his food.
When I asked the doctor if it would hurt him he angrily said "Why are you feeding him cat food?" I told him I wasn't FEEDING it to him, he was stealing it whenever he got the chance! LOL
what surprises me more than anything in this video is that this kid is holding a squat position the entire video... I'd suggest power lifting for her. It's not like it's a bad squat, her back is straight and her heads up. Better form than most people i see at the gym.
The life of a child must be great!!!! They have nothing to worry about or even think about and they can be amused and amazed by putting a piece of food in a Dog’s mouth. I bet this child could do this for hours until the dog is fat then come back and do it again and be no less amazed and entertained by it.

@SarahJ83 i have a very socialized german shepherd and you can take his food out of his mouth and he won't get aggressive or growl at you but he is not trained at all i mean if you throw him the ball he is gonna go after her but he ain't gonna bring it back....i have the coolest dog ever.
@cezar8948 training is more than just teaching them sit, stay, or lay. Properly socializing your dog is part of training. Sounds like you have a nice GSD there.
@iVincie I never said your dog growled at people. I'm not really sure what has you so upset that you'd resort to vulgar language. You dog might be well trained but you obviously have a few social problems that need to be worked on yet. I believe my response here was to GeRmZ89 not to you.
Right after the camera stopprd filming, the baby stuck his head in the bowl and ate the rest of the food, haha.Seriously, did you see the way he grabbed the bowl at the end?
O M G THE CUTEST EVER! "MARIO" WAITING PATIENTLY FOR 1 AT A TIME AND THE EXPRESSION ON SHAYNA'S FACE OF TOTAL CONCENTRATION TO DO THIS EXACTLY RIGHT ( LOL) IS PRICELESS, FOR SURE.
@Familyguy098 Very unlikely. What the dog is probably learning is that even this little human pup can control his food, which is a good thing; as it means he'll respect the kid and be even more bound to him. And the kid will learn boundaries this way, too.
@Familyguy098 I've had tons of dogs in my years, most of them being German Shepherds; I know for a fact that a ton of them do something in common. If you give them something like food they always carefully take it out of your hand as to not injure your fingers. Dogs are intelligent and sensitive beings too you know.
@amalasuman12345 Well it depends on the severity of his issue really. Whenever my German Shepherds ever woke up in such a fashion it's usually rare and only when they wake up suddenly or had a bad dream. Believe or not dogs DO dream a lot. Though that is only from my experience, if the doctor notices something different when it's not the same issue. Though if the doctor is only GUESSING then he's thinking from a medical standpoint and thinks it happens all the time. How often does it happen?
@amalasuman12345 Yeah then it definitely sounds like a breathing/respiratory problem. Hopefully those pills help, if not then check another veterinarian for a "second opinion"... maybe they have better solutions. I'm not a doctor so I can't help much, but I can advise you that your dog is losing it's health that way so the sooner it's solved the better.
You can tell that this dog is very well-trained because he doesn't snap at the baby when she touches the food. A lot of dogs are food aggressive and will bite even their owners if they go near the food. That dog is so careful not to bite the baby. Good dog and even better training!
I baby site a 1 1/2 year old and every night when I give my Aussie her dinner the kid just has to give her at least a dozen pieces of her food by hand one by one just like this :)

Yes it is cute, and my niece used to feed her puppy just like that. She grew up with this puppy and when she was 4 yrs old, he tired of it one day and attacked her for taking his food. She luckily came away with only scratches and a fear of dogs. Children should not have "playtime" with an animals food. The dog was blamed for the incident because my sister n law has allowed her to feed him one morsel at a time for years.
Actually dogs should always allow their owners to put the hand in the food, unless it's a rescue dog with some problems. Your neice must have teased her dog
I dont understand why people are giving you *thumbs down* for telling your story!!!!! When i was growing up my father always said the dog should know its pecking order in the family but when you feed it just let it eat the food! No harm no foul its just common sense IMO
