No matter how old Trent got, or how far removed he was from his early life as an addict, this eye of the storm part of Mr. Self Destruct, when its live it always seems to take him back to a certain place.

This song has such dynamic energy whether its blowing your ear drums or leaving you in a beat-less limbo, its like a black hole.

@tribestros I kind of agree in a way. I have been waiting much too long for the project, however. Take this into account. They are taking videos, doing a little editing and uploading. Done. The TOIOU project is filming 4 seperate concerts, editing them, doing the soundwork and shit. THEN making the packaging, THEN burning all the discs. THEN sending them to MANY different parts of the world. Thats just the simplified version. Think nextime fuckstick.

I mean, if you don't like the album, that's your prerogative (I tie it with The Fragile as my favourite) but other than The Beginning Of The End, NONE of it sounds "garage rock" at all. I suggest listening to both albums a few more times. The first time I heard The Slip, I hated it but now I find it fairly fucking awesome
