for everyone saying that this wasnt 1000 yards, if you listen and watch, it takes about 2 seconds for the bullet to reach the target. now if we consider that a .338 travels on average 2000fps or so over the course of the trajectory (2700fps at muzzle minus wind resistance), thats 2000x2=4000, and as most people can figure out 4000 feet is around 1333 yards, thus the shot could have easily been 1000 yards.
Your welcome mate! I myself have shot at 1200 and hit with the 338 lupua threw a AI rifle and I said it then when my falling plate dissapeared in a puff lol.
@usukker And you can tell this how????? Being your the pro at judging distance on you tube when no one can do it standing on the ground where the shot taking place. Please tell every one just how you do it. I would love to know. Thanks for letting every one know there r still DA's in the world.
@cd9ers Yes sir that it was I think you can see it hit the ground three or four times. i didn't even see that till someone told me about it. kind of kazy of the power behind this rifle.
Great marksmanship.

@jpsieben7 I did roughly the same math with similar results. A little knowledge can go a long way.

@CritterShooter watch the vapor trail.. the bullet goes as high as the top of the feeder before dropping on target... 1000 easy.
