good riding but here is a tip when u land from a jump keep control u were very wobely hold on tighter with your legs tht works with my and sonny and trust me it helps- but ur a brill rider :) and also keep your back strait when ur trotting tuck ur bum in :)

i had to end up swaping misty for tammy because the other girl on the trail ride couldnt handle tammy being cranky XD as soon as i got on tammy tammy tryed to pull her head so that i lost my reins and it was funny as because she kept biteing everyones elgs as she went passed and i evan got her to canter the whole distance XD but i was glad i got tammy tho misty is to much of a free mover i like horses with a challange but im working on tammy on each lesson i do with her she needs the extra work

Wow your a GREAT rider. The only thing I have to say is remember to keep your shoulders back and heels down. But you probably have gotten way better and you probably have a trainer to tell you that. i will keep all my rats untill they pass away but the mice we give to the wildlife worker but i hope the tips i gve u about the bedding helped i can give u more info if u like =] about colds and stuff but its good u ride lots =] becuase i do riding once a week and it feels like a year of not riding ;/ in between the wait XD

i just startedriding and need help with my posture and confidence. i can never remember to keep my heels dow and look up straight and so on... and i dont know if i will be able to canter... any advice??

For some people keeping their heels down is really hard. To get the feeling of it, stand straight in the saddle and put all your weight in your heels then do it again sitting in the saddle in trot and canter. After that your posture should come naturally but if not then just really concentrate on having your head, shoulders and heels in a vertical line to each other. To canter just move your pelvis with the rhythm. Practice makes perfect.

ive been riding for about 2.5 year but still have trouble with leads and diagonals!

For trot you go up when your horses outside front leg goes forward (you can tell by looking at their it's shoulder). If you are on the wrong lead sit for two bumps and post again until you are correctly with the rhythm. For cantering your horses inside front leg should extend farther than the outside front leg. If you are just going straight then leads and diagonals are not important.

Try jumping without hands it helps you with finding a good balance and to not rely on your hands. but only jump a small jump at first and have someone watch. Also when you are trotting and walking around the arena go into 2 point and stay in that position for as long as you can, don't use your hands. Then do it in canter but remember that when you lean forward when the horse is moving the horse will go faster so be ready to sit back down and hold the alot of reins in case it goes too fast.

thanks, there are two big horses. The very first horse is called Kenya and the very last horse I ride is named Royal. Both are from different stables. I love Royal he has the best temperment although he does spook a lot.
