  • Great Great Documentary, I want the new album!!!!

  • Excellent documentary. The greatest band in the world. <3

  • I can't thank you enough for uploading these!

  • I lost hope and talked shit in the beginning because of the references to big hair bands and 90's grunge rock but I can admit when I'm wrong. Pretty damn good documentary and I have no idea why I didn't find it earlier.

  • @browneye870 :) Thank you for watching

  • the marketing people said they were going for that anti-marketing target audience, that's a top dollar market, very popular nowadays, also they have the righteous indignation dollar, also a very big market *goes outside, starts car, shoots the guy accusing Tool of doing the "anti-marketting market" thing, then sucks on tail pipe and dies*

  • @Silvamedalist I thought that was hilarious too, it all comes full-circle (A Perfect Circle?!?) back to Bill Hicks and Tool being soul-mates in the art.

  • Thank you miss.

Now lets all twin thumbs until their album sometime in 2012, most probably featuring some spoofs on the "upcoming apocalypse".

  • @berryhill88 You are very welcome :)

  • Thank you.

  • @jkejke You're welcome :)

  • Puscifer!

  • Thumbs up if you found out about tool through a friend rather than on the internet like most bands nowadays

  • @deansinghgill i heard about tool from MTV back when they used to play music. their videos raped my mind, and about 4 years after that era, they became favorite band. it took me a while to develop as a person before i could realize how important they were to me.

  • wow thnx so much for this documentary. it was also a bit of a twist ending for me haha the fact i thought a guy uploaded this xD

  • ever notice in the space suits they all have the TA patch....

  • cant wait for the new cd...2012

  • *feels inspired* lol

  • Thanks so much for uplading these, very informative!! oh .. and chicks who dig ']['[[]][[]][[_ are GOOD! lol

  • very awesome...much appreciated.

  • Love it!

  • Cool documentary, although I would of liked to hear the band speak a bit more, nonetheless, Tool is the Dees Bees!

  • Thank you for the uploads.

  • you probably had enough thank messages already, bro, but i can't help myself.

    thanks for the upload

  • Thank you so much for uploading this documentary.

  • This is gooood shit!! (Cough!!) Best shit in all the land!!!!! Oh yeah, and the best band in all the land!!

  • This was great. Thanks for taking the time to post it.

  • Thankyou good sir for uploading these. Much obliged

  • @jcrawford21 You are welcome...(and I'm a girl....)

  • @symptom1555

    Unreal xD

  • @symptom1555 I've been mistaken for a guy online so many times when I've said/done something tool related! Male ego is a powerful thing! Hehe and I second that thank you, I've been a huge tool fan for so long and only just discovered this documentary. I hugely appreciate that you put it up! ^_^

  • @symptom1555 then in that case god bless you.

  • Think deep

  • @briar834 I actually was going to type the same comment!

On another topic, Danny Carey is my hero!! He started playing drums by just doing rudiments for 12 or so years and then finally got a set. Got a doctorate in music and Is the well fitted drummer for the best band EVER

  • Thanks man. If you guys liked this watch the Pink Floyd n Syd Barret story its also very good

  • Wow i was wearing my TOOL shirt and TOOL hoodie while watching parts 1-9 the whole time i didnt relizes this somehow. but TOOL's the best band in my book Loved the Documentary thanks for posting!

  • thank you!

  • Watched 1-9, thanks for posting!

  • Tool found a "new" way of marketing themselves...TRUE. As far as Gene Simmons...well IMO MJK fits that style...I bought his wine-$600 worth(yeah I'm an idiot) but yeah Tool succeeded by maintaining a aire of mystery and not succumbing to the trappings of fame.

  • Fascinating documentary. Most excellent to get David Bottrill's take on what are probably my favorite Tool albums, Aenima and Lateralus, from the insider's perspective. To me, Tool's approach to music and Bottrill's boundless production genius are a perfect marriage for music of such a progidious scope. There are whispers circulating about Bottrill possibly having been brought back for the new record...which would be epic...and Justin said the extra time they're taking "will be worth it." =)

  • @TheDreamMechanic

    prodigious....*ahem*

  • Watching made me feel proud to own all their cds I cant wait to see them live soon.

  • I FUCKING LOVE TOOL

I would honestly suck 20 dicks to see them live.

    Seriously. Hahaha

  • @JiubLink

Fortunately, that "package" "comes" with free mouthwash*.

Pardon enigmatic pun. =) Seriously, though, if my prior 20 something times of seeing them live still holds true...it'll be worth it!

  • @JiubLink

    now thats fan.

LOL...i dont know if i'd suck 20, but maybe give 50 handjobs?

  • @ianbarber20 That arm is gonna be pretty sore for the concert though.

  • @berryhill88 worth every cramp.

  • @JiubLink I dunno how you've never seen them live. You must live in Siberia or something. Although I can say for you, it may be worth sucking 20 dicks as I've seen them 8-10 times and it's everything you anticipate and so much more.

  • @Dimes329 i saw them in sacramento at the arco arena. on an 1/8 of mushrooms. it was my first and only time seeing them...mind. blown.

  • Really enjoyed the thanks Tool. will be waiting to hear what's next cheers!

  • Wow! Incredible and such an absolute treat. Remain where you are guys this house loves the time you give us!

  • That was very informative glad it was posted.

  • Thanks for the up!

  • my son will listen to tool while in my wife's stomach, lets see if he comes out singing stinkfist while being born

  • Awesome Documentary, From First to last, GREAT!

  • I finally have experienced my deepest root and inspiration in music. Thanks to Tool and Pink Floyd!

  • that guy at the end seems very humble, I cant really like Tool with the beatles so much because their songs were so catchy but as far as integrity goes ok, but they are not as big as the beatles were i think, that award goes to nirvana. I do see a better comparison with pink floyd though I think they may be more like that. It is interesting that the host mentioned that the fans will ensure that Tool's popularity will remain one of iconoclastic acclaim, I think that is true for the most part.

  • Not as good as the Tool Unauthorized biography. I'm just kidding that bio was diabolical shit.

  • from another universe

  • awesome post! thanks.

tool is timeless. i hope we get something new from them soon but if we have to wait it will be worth it because they are true artist

  • Number one..... thx for posting!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'd also like to thank you for this great video. I'm a huge fan+can say that this band actually has changed me for the better in a variety of ways. I never really thought that that was something that could occur to this extent but this band has done it.

    Thanks again!

  • thanks for posting!

    great vids!

    tool power!

  • Lateralus = #1 album all-time for sure especially when you consider the fibonacci sequence concept which it's based on.

  • definately thank you for posting this....

lateralus is one of the greatest albums of all time
