The complete Factory Five 65 Coupe kit (with options but less drivetrain and paint) is around $21K. You may be able to do a budget build (with mustang donor car parts) for around $35K. You could easily spend $50K - $60K if you want a new crate engine with the best parts, new tranny, new diff, expensive wheels, and a high end paint job.

35K is doable. If you go the "donor" car route, it is totally plausible. 15K for the kit, 10K MAX for a damn decent donor car, and you still have 10K under the 35K limit to throw at the last requirements: Paint, Wheels, Tires and Battery.

The Factory Five coupe allows you to put a 351 windsor based block in it. You can go all the way up to 454 inches if you want. Easily over 600hp with the right parts.

True, it's not cheap, but consider this. A moderately appointed mustang GT can get up to 35K pretty easy, and that is a pretty common sports car. And this car would destroy a Mustang.

Unfortunately we can't do cool burn outs with these cars. However this car was amazing and would have ripped the rear tires off in any gear of your choice. This was probably my favorite car in the showroom at the time.
