What truly sets Emily Haines apart (IMO) is how well she enunciates her lines. All her vocals are crisp, clear and beautiful to boot. Metric is a band that I am continually drawn back to again and again. Whenever I get bored with the "new thing" there's something about Metric that brings me back home.

Easylove is spot on. this exact performance coulda sounded awsome if they had only paid attention to the room's acoustics. Sounds like they recorded in a highschool hallway.

There's a huge loss of warmth that would not have taken much to capture.

Good performance. definitely. but the RECORDING could have been much better. Like easy said, it's a knock at the team recording it, not the band.
