Things like this happen. LS1s aren't any less prone to head gasket issues under forced induction.

The logic behind the choice of us domestic guys is that we don't need to put our engines at risk with forced induction. Even if we do use it, we won't need as much pressure.

There's no doubt that import engines stand more boost than a typical domestic. They're well built. But in the end of the race, that small engine will take its toll on the results.

Like I said that motor does have anything over a stock LSx motor. Any little thing you add equals lost of REAR WHEEL HORSEPOWER. Without any turbos or superchagers. To bad you cant say that bout any Lexus or Toyota.

just so you know, a *properly* tuned IS300 can put down anywhere from 350-700+ rwhp. it may not be great from a dig as it just spins tires, but they're damn fast. but a car with a 2jz, lots of power and performance isn't a sports car right?

because if you did...u would know that a is300 has a 2jz ge motor which is also incorporated from a supras 2jz gte...just that us IS'S posses different internals

..not to mention our suspension set up is bar none compared to a ls 1 comaro.....you domestic lovers tend to forget that a lexus is a luxurious toyota...but it still posses racing haritage...cant change the heart with the change of a name dumass
