  • Im not sure whether to love this or be disgusted by it...

  • I was here because of Mega 64 PodCast

  • Kick his back door down!

  • This gives an uneasy feeling, but it's the kind where you don't care because the song is so awesome :)

  • This song is a revelation!

  • This is my ringtone on my mobile phone!! haha i gotta tell ya it really draws attention, people around me stops and looks around when it rings, curious on where it comes from! I LOVE this song to death, and the twin freaks version of temporary secretary is awesome too!!

  • this is the only synth drenched song that I like off of this album. I'm sorry, but I just can't listen to Frozen Jap and that kind of stuff.

  • I have the weirdest boner right now.

  • @AndrewHaddock That's cuz you need a TEMPORARY SECRETARY!

  • this is my least favorite Paul McCartney song! But I love ALL of his other songs!

  • this prooves how diverse and different a genius can be!

  • I love this funky song, what a great version !!!

  • @MsDance2Music

What do you mean "a great version"?!... it's the only version of this song!

  • Great song and video. This song was ahead of its time. A few years later,it would have been a huge hit.

  • this song is great fuck the haters

  • annoyingly catchy, the synth part was the craziest thing i'd ever heard when i was little.

  • This song DOES suck, but what the fuck it's Paul McCartney, it's good even if it does suck

  • @cford1992 This is a great song.

  • I'm surprised Nirvana didn't cover this back in the day. The vocal phrasing and general drone matches their sound, plus the chorus chant would be TOTAL Nirvana. Crazy.

  • @jimicoop ....very perceptive comment - would also appeal to Kurt's sense of humour too.....

  • @jimicoop Strangely enough, I can totally see that working.

  • Every composer got the right to write crap between greatness

  • @Comuna Oh piss off back to your "Let It Be... Naked" CD

  • @BillyIsATwat23 yeah yeah Yeah....twat! lol

  • @Comuna I'm sorry, I mean MP3 download from iTunes.

  • Sublime tune

  • NOT MUSIC, garage band

  • Paul has always done whatever the f**k he wants to.

  • so dancing :)

  • For some strange reason,I always liked this song when my brother got the 8track!

  • THIS SONG IS GOD AWFUL

  • @Niman1988 NO, its worse than that

  • @MrSimonbowler hahahaa thank you. I absolutely love the beatles. I live for live music, if I ever heard this live i'd pull a to catch a predator and blow my brains out right there, with everyone around me... cranium and brain matter everywhere.

  • Strong and sweet sittning on my knee.

    BOING!

  • I think this is typical of McCartney's clever use of 1977 cutting edge technology and his willingness to take it beyond the norm. 34 years on, absolutely brill!

  • love it!!!!

  • I BEG YOU PARDON ???

THAT SONG IS HELLUVA PRECURSOR !!!

  • @solitarylonewolf Then Why Did YOU SEE THIS VIDEO!!

  • @solitarylonewolf Are you seriously judging Paul McCartney off of this song alone?

  • @solitarylonewolf = fucking loser ahUAhUHAuHAuHAuHAuhUAHuHA

  • @solitarylonewolf You are ignorant of his songs or you wouldn't say something so stupid.

  • @solitarylonewolf Ok Gangsta rap lover

  • @solitarylonewolf I don't know, I kind of love it. Maybe it's generational.. I wasn't raised on the Beatles, but I am quite a bit older than you /7

    *shrug/**

  • @solitarylonewolf Look up "yesterday", this was sort of a Getting into music again album.

  • I really love/hate this song.

  • I was born very very late. 1999 :'-(

  • @SouthParkRocks9 its okay! =] im very late too!

  • @blueice1995 me too

  • @SouthParkRocks9 the fuck kid get off the internet

  • @SouthParkRocks9 i was born in 1992 just saying.

  • @SouthParkRocks9 me 1990 so what?i used to say this but look now you can find any song you want easily and you can still enjoy the music

  • I actually love this song lol I recently saw Paul in concert and this song played on the speakers before and after the show with techno dance remixes of Paul songs haha

  • This was definitely ahead of its time.

  • I love McCartney II. One of my favorite albums. I love 80s Paul in general, even Press To Play. I love the b-sides as well, especially Secret Friend.

  • I had this on a mcartney tape back in 1980 and the girls in my car used to laugh thier asses off when i played it lol

  • This song is great! It was really ahead of it's time. Can't believe the song is now 30 years old!

  • il apply as his secretary free board and lodging even just an allowance...

  • I think this made me wanna be an administrative assistant!

  • Well, it ain't Let It Be, but I still like it a lot.

  • better than "Imagine"

  • @ufupn Better than any album by a solo Beatle.

  • @ufupn That wouldn't be hard.

  • What album was this off of? I want to buy it RIGHT NOW! I know the Big Mac realy doesn't need any more of my $, but this song is freaking brilliant!

  • @bluzxyox its mccartney II I got the original one from 1979

  • @blueice1995 it was released in 1980 i have the vinyl 1st pressing in Columbia Records good album McCartney 2 is

  • @blueice1995 Is it worth anything more than what we paid for it? (Not that I'd ever want to sell it.)

  • @ImAnnaChristine nope i'll keep it forever!!!

  • @blueice1995 I got the original too! I picked up at a record store in great condition for $3!

  • @blueice1995 It came out in 1980

  • I had this lp when I was a kid and I thought it sucked. Now it sounds awesome!

  • Coming Up Live in Glasgow is sooooo good. I love that song!

  • You have to give it to Paul this and the whole of Mc2 are absolute genius. This one, Nobody knows, Coming up, Front Parlour, Frozen Jap and the list goes on. Not for verse-chorus-verse- chorus-bridge-chorus crowd-that's for sure

  • I don't get it. I have always been a Beatles fan. But when I hear this song, all I can think is, "There's no way this guy wrote any music for the Beatles." I guess it's just me. Oh, well. I will be expecting hate replies from McCartney fans.

  • whats wrong with the song ? its ok and a little electronic.

but he did better songs though.

  • I think the same thing when i hear some Lennon solo songs. He had some stinkers too

  • @ejgonz33172 , I'm a huuuuge Paul McCartney fan, and I bought McCartney II yesterday and listened to this song, It's so techno and electronic. It's a little weird but it's so catchy!

  • @ejgonz33172 Buddy, it's not just you. What the h3ll happened to Paul after the Beatles???

  • No you've got a point. he stuck to a tried and tested frmula with the Beatles but a time comes when an artist needs to develop or else they go mad

  • Well, McCartney did write some odd stuff when he in the Beatles too. Remember "Wild Honey Pie", "Carnival of Light" and "You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)" (which he and John Lennon wrote together. Paul always has had a intrest in the Avant-garde.

  • are you kidding?? I think it's pretty catchy and he's was just trying to keep up with the times. Using synthesizers and sounding like Devo. It's genius. Obviously the subject is tongue in cheek, as it should be. This was ahead of it's time and misunderstood til now.

  • amazing track ... i bought this record a few years ago as a "repress" and actually always thought it was a remix of some old song :) guess not, just way ahead of its time!

  • Love this funky song! It was perfect for a time when Disco was winding down. It is some of Paul's best stuff.

  • there's the true king!

  • Before the Tulsa Concert in 8/09 - Temporary Secretary was played over the loud speaker. Very cool.

  • pinche puto lame bolas porque no dejas que la baje culero ojete metetela por el culo culero

  • Its easy to forget how diverse the McCartney discography is...

  • In other words, he has done some great stuff, some average stuff and some awful stuff.

  • @aafxa2 it is a very rich discography

  • @aafxa2

Excelent experimental song ! A proof that Sir McCartney is a real composer not just a juke-box for nostalgic drinking sessions and sentimental teen girls. And a reminder that rock is not at all a commercial musical genre but an alive and in a permanent search for new ways of exprimation.

  • Una cancion muy original para mi de las mejores como solista

  • I loved this time in Paul's music career it suited the time. He did some good work on his own.

    Maureen - Australia.

  • Very cool, i love paul for his diverse music. so creative and original!

  • thanks ^^ i'll do more later

  • yeah, I just saw that...too funny.

I think his name is Neil Tudor...that's cool, though...I'm one of 'em dreaded McCartney look a likes, too...
