  • As my friends in Buenos Aires would say, "Fabulosa!"

  • Las imagenes son del periodico Nuevo Mundo?

Es una cancion preciosa y el sonido es optimo!Gracias por compartirlo con los demas!

  • Suddenly, these nice images reminded me the more modern Tamara DE LEMPIKA's paintings; but if the vid says this song was recorded in 1929, then Paris and the rest of all Europe had been dancing tango for nine years by then...!

Gardel last voyage to Medellín was in 1935 and he was ignored by England and USA enciclopedias since, until the printing of ca. 1980's biography of Simon Coilleur to english speaking people.

...One of the reasons why we all know EL MUDO sings much better now!

  • schön........

  • "Beijo a vossa mão, senhora"

    Magnífico Gardel, como sempre!

Superbs illustrations; it seems to me there is a portuguese one - "Novela Semanal".

    Thank you, Jurek

  • Thanks for the introduction to Carlos. He now has another fan.

  • Then let me invite you to "Mi Noche Triste", my channel.

    Thanks.

  • Excelente, Jorge!

Felicitaciones. Las ilustraciones son magníficas también.

    Alfredo.

  • Gardel's passionate singing. Wonderful bright illustrations. Que lindo!

  • This tune is most refreshing and unique in the passionate version of a song that obviously, Gardel thorougly made his own.

  • and he sings with every day - better and better ! I love that idea of his South American fans; share it.

    Gracias, P.

  • Complete editions of his records have been available in South America for years. There's even a Carlos Gardel restaurant in Washington DC even though he was killed in 1935. Clearly not forgotten. Quite a few film clips of him on Youtube.

  • Yes, there are circles that cannot do without him. Even say: Carlos Gardel sings with every day better (!).

Latest Complete edition available via todotango . com , Argentina.

  • Y yo beso vuestra imaginacion tan hermosa&magica, Seńor Jurek. Gracias por este video.

  • I need no telepathic signals, (although it would have been ideal 2 weeks ago) to be told that Carlos Gardel's beautiful vocal makes this tango a specialty. And the pictures make this a very enjoyable experience. 5stars. TY.

  • My special favorite: "Mi Noche Triste", my channel.

Thank you and have a good day (week, month...).

  • They play this like muzak in the tango hall room

we rent once a month for our Local Union meeting. I sit under Gardel's picture and collect dues. That was this afternoon, in fact.

So imagine my surprise finding this theme song

waiting for me here at my desk. Are you perhaps a psychic under your many other hats?

This will be a favorite, thank you Jurek.

  • Everything says to me lately that I must be a psychic...:)

Which in my language is - telepata.

  • Thank you for the post....I just heard 4 versions of this tune and in this mans opinion Gardels is the version. What is interesting is Gardels passion, it may help too is that I speak Spanish (albeit a dialect from East Los Angeles). This little comparison only confirms how really great Carlos Gardel was and is.

  • That "international hit" seems to be completely HIS, here.

    Gracias Amigo!

  • Thank you for this beautiful work...!

I don't think your sound is that bad, mine is worse...!

  • both in their own way great and exceptional - regardless the sound - documents and creations.

  • Always a good moment to listen Carlos Gardel. Magazines are very nive too!

  • Unfamiliar sound of a familiar song.

    A delightful version.

    Thank you

  • Yes, completely different air; actually taken from the La Plata region.

And from the heart of Carlitos...:)
