@kaneCVR Very nice man! My brother is looking forward to putting the M60 in his 87 E30. He's got a M20 in it right now thats just chipped. Hes dealing with transmission problems and them actually fitting for some reason. I'm not sure he knows more of what needs to be done with it.
@DJMode318 you need a custom intake manifold to fit a stock M60. I cut my aluminum airbox (the one after the throttle bodies and before the MAF) in half and bolted it to the supercharger. Another possible issue is the steering column (if you have power steering). That one can only be solved by swapping to an e36 steering rack.
Actually it does once theres a connection between the wheels and the engine.. quicker acceleration is coherent with the increase in rpm, on both the crank shaft and the wheels... so.. lighter car equals fast acceleration equals faster increase of Rpm on both crankshaft and wheels ;)
i am setting up an e30 for drift racing for a customer and i used lowering struts but stock springs to give stiff suspension and i put lots of caster ( so the wheel snaps back to straight ahead when yu let go) and a little bit of camber to make it stick to the road reall good. hope this helps
