yes, but its not as if XNA will just do it for you. You need to create a GameState engine, then when paused you freeze the draw and update logic of the game.
This made me smile because I'm old enough to remember playing Pong on the old Telstar Marksman console. Gonna put it out there that playing with an Xbox controller is gonna make it a whole hell of a lot easier to play than the old paddle controllers lol. They were pretty awful. When Atari 2600 hit the scene, though, home gaming kind of exploded. Now I just feel old. Good job on an old classic!
