most of the time when you see Thomas pridgen he's playing at a drum clinic or something like that with no band, so to say he cant play calmed down or with finesse is non sense..of course tony royster is technically better and thats because he trained with dennis chambers since twelve yrs old and a bunch of different drummers..pridgen is damn near self taught....so if you base his talent on a pound for pound level...thomas pridgen can be considered up there as being top 5 drummers...
