Most men in Afghan culture don't really get to know any women except their mothers and sisters. Women who have sex out of marriage are often stoned to death. So those who cannot afford to buy a wife often turn to animals for sex.

My friend also trained afghan soldiers. They often take turns dressing up as women and have sex with each other on the base. I would feel sorry for afghans but they are shooting themselves in the foot by demonizing women's sexuality.

Yes, I agree with that too, I honestly would choose wearing a burqa over death. But it's hard for me (and anyone, really) to bypass their cultural norms and get in someone else's shoes.
