  • Like this if you're in Mr. Sousa's Environmental Science class! Class 2011-12 FTW!!!

  • GREAT VIDEO

Please add more tags, get this HUGE.. stand up America, before you can't.. you think they will stop on there own I think not.. power greedy corrupt officials,.. want more power and money..your money isn't needed, there backed by the top 2%

  • What happened to the fertile crescent? There's only so much we can do....

  • The solution is simple. Stop buying what factory farms produce. Grow your own food OR buy it from a local gardener, farmer, CSA (Consumer-supported agriculture), coop, vegetable stand - wherever locally grown produce NOT mass produced can be found. It DOES already exist and by supporting those already making a difference we can expand that difference. Our time is better spent growing and supporting than fighting the corruption that created this mess in the first place! If you can't find, ask me.

  • great video, unfortunately until we also get Monsanto out of this loop, we will continue to have GOVERNMENT CONTROL. Let's discuss those chemicals- shall we! How about the seeds!

  • I'm sorry, Mr. Tuttle, but all it's going to take is for farmers to realize that they can make more money growing corn for ethanol than they can for food or livestock feed and it bye-bye food production and hello fuel production. Face it, farmers are at the mercy of the corporations that buy their products and, if those corporations want you to grow fuel-corn instead of food-corn, that's what you'll do. Neither you nor the corporations give a damn about the environment when it comes to money!

  • dont talk about a farmer with your mouth full

  • This article is somewhat misleading: NRCS uses an equation that 1) doesn't simulate actual soil erosion, 2) is used to measure the relative impact of ag management decisions, and 3) uses an climatic factor that is an annual average of the 30-min storm intensity of a 10-yr storm. Iowa State looks at erosion after each storm which may produce higher erosion rates but is too labor intensive to be used nationwide. NRCS' budgets continue to be cut so that enforcement of regs is nearly imposible.

  • I don't get it...this isn't rocket science, a five year old could figure it out. Well, the country will reap what it sows. :(

  • all these farmers better start telling the feds to screw off!!!! mansanto too!!!!

  • Their goal is the destruction of the family farm, in which they have largely succeeded. One of my favorite films is "the Accountant" by Richard Linklater because it offers me a little hope for the future of small, non corporate family farms.

  • This is a good v ideo. A lot of the big farm subsidy checks go to Politicians Small farmers are under intense economic pressure.

  • I've known a farmer for years. When I first talked to him he said something strange about farming on, gleaning resources from and logging the land. He said his philosophy is "Give a little take a little." I said in my mind, sure, nature gives you a little and you also take a little more. He said nothing about giving to the natural landscape. It was sort of like heads I win, tails you lose. These farmers are subsidized destroyers of our land.
