Thank you for supporting my comments! Also i would like to say that anyone can reach GP, but it doesn't mean you have a better chance to beat a world class rider who has had years of experience, milage, many rides on Top class horses. Like Anky and isabell they have had a share of Top Class horses, likes of Bonfire, Gigolo, Anthony, Cocktail, Idool, Salinero, Satchmo, Apache and so on.

I mean i ride my Mare upto to PSG some days and then she will only be good enough to do Elementary Level, because she suffers from Stage fright some day she is like this and some days she's like that! But again if i reach GP 1 day i will not come on Utube and say i'm going to beat Anky, Isabell because i wont have the chance because they are GP+++ Standard to anyone else!

This horse has many talents but he is heavy in the hand at the moment and Anky really had to work hard to keep him going in the passage at times. Maybe it'll come but as yet it's not light and airy enough.

If a horse performs at Grand Prix Level, they will already have established Balance, Lightness, Suppleness, Abedience to all the Collected Plus Movements; Extended Trot, piaffe, Passage, Pirouettes ect. What your saying is Anky has a heavy hand & Painted Black is still Prelim level? Well love he is not!

Please don't put words in my mouth that i didn't say. This horse is NOT established yet in Grand Prix. I stand by the comment i made , i have 2 eyes and can see thank you, there was definate resistence at times in that test. You think i made a personal attack at Anky, well your wrong , i also remarked maybe it'll come. I watched Anky Last year at a Clinic the UK, she was 5 months Pregnant & she told 500 people, Painted Black is her next Top horse & she doens't know wether she will him at the Beiing Olympics next year! & retire Salinero or keep Painted 4 London Olympics. So 2 come out with a comment like that is a seriuos one! She is the only 1 who knows & the Judges giving her the feedback! What have u done 2 know what is correct, nothing is Perfect!!!!

look Anky knows as well as anybody Painted Black isn't a world beater yet. Truly u can see it here. There are too many resistances and watch his hindlegs in the piaffe, he's not in sequence. He still MAY become a world beater but he still needs more time. I do have experience to judge though obviously Anky is superior to nearly everyone.

Every horse is not always correct in Piaffe because it's the most Hardest Advanced Collected Plus Trot ever a horse could do! and for performing infront of a huge crowd, Judge at a highly proffessional standard will cause tension through horse & rider!

Again the Piaffe u said he lacked sequence could be down 2 rider era, again we are not all perfect! Dressage is about Training, showing the Judge ur hard work! & if it does go right or goes wrong you will always go home & continue Training 4 the next show!

Whats your Problem? No one can say this is a World beater untill it happens! Nobody or thing is Perfect!!! Anky thinks He's Better than Salinero but it doesn't mean he will achieve a Huge CV as Salinero's. The judges might change for next year & so different Results will happen.

At the end of the day, it's all to do with the Percentage Marks at the end of the Tests! Every horse has a Weakness in a Movement & Strength in another. I can certaninly say that Painted Blacks Piaffe, Passage & other movements were exceptionally Brilliant! at the Clinic last year, with a heavy person on Him! (Anky 5 months pregnant) it takes alot of balance 2 b able 2 control balance with ease.

As Fallding said, this horse will be Ankys 4th olympic horse by the time 2012 comes. Mark my words mate, she'll win. I guess time will tell. When i went to Watch Anky riding Painted Black at her Clinic last year (she was 5 months pregnant) i was with my Trainer and she even commented how Natural this horse was doing Piaffe! it was easy with no effort even with a Heavy Anky on board! You don't know anything! My Trainer has been placed at Badminton Horse trial wice, Burghley, and competed at GP Level so i think she also knows what she is talking about.

The only badminton winner i can recall who rode Grand Prix was Sheila Willcox and Sun and Air.Long ago i worked for the Kidd family in England and and helped Jane who is an internatioal judge now. I have ridden advanced dressage and had plenty of experience with gp horses. If i don't think much of Painted b. I RESERVE MY RIGHT TO AN OPINION WITHOUT INSULTS FROM OTHERS.

First of all i did not mention that my Trainer Won Badminton! she was placed there and burghley. Also she Won an Inspiration Award from 'YOUR HOURSE' Magazine. She Trained with David Hunt her name is 'SUE HILL' and she is so lovely, understanding! she does not compete anymore, but she said she will compete mine when i'm Pregnant!

This horse has such a natural piaffe and passage. No doubt he will be a Top Horse with a Top Rider (ANKY VAN GRUNSVEN) Infact all of his paces are exceptional! I do love how he covers the ground doing the Half-pass

Wrong Painted Black does have more Power all stallions do. His Trot work is more powerful than salinero's but lacks experience (he's only young!) has more cadence in his work than salinero. Salinero has polished correct Transitions hence Experience in his work than Painted Black. He just needs more work and getting it right at the right time and he will be there in the future. With Anky of course.

Anky told about 500 hundred people at that clinic i went to, that Painted Black has the most power on the yard and then she explained why she uses Rollkur especially with Painted Black because he and can get very keen and does become to powerful for his own good. I was there with those 500 others.

Jaccko, in this one I agree with fallding... *gives look of complete shock* this is by far the more talented horse. But I actually hate the bad rep stallions get... most are lovely when well handled and simply amazing to ride. This is a nice minded horse, but I'll bet anything that the rollkur will cause her problems eventually. When he finally decides he's had enough and gets it into his head to really fight back she's going to be helpless because she has made him immune strong aids.

No Rollkur, helps with the suppleness, elasticity, bedience, push button, connection with the rider. I know because i ride my horses with this method, you should use it! my horses are more connected with me now than ever before.
