  • i hate rmit buildings. they try to look innovative and creative but they all look colorful crap.

  • nice but y is it so busy?

  • @mrHEARTbreaker010 As in number of people or design? Just a generated fly through so only an indication right now...

  • this building sucks, and it is so noisy to residents around the area

  • @missmedicine100 Well not really built yet, barely just above the foundations, but if any noise issues please report them to our property services desk +61 3 9925 2111

  • Ugh, stop this kind of architecture! We demand far more bland, unmemorable buildings from now on! Don't you dare try and be creative!

  • i dont like the design..

  • what schools will be in it? school or architecture n design? business? global studies? any1 know? its not as bad as the green bubbly stuff above the info building on the corner

  • @jellyheadish Business mostly. At least the 'green bubbly stuff' is memorable to you : )

  • @rmitmedia heey is this in melbourne victoria in swantson street?

  • @andyalin yes it is

  • @rmitmedia when will they build it?

  • @andyalin Being built right now!

  • @rmitmedia OMG great ill be going there when i finish high school !!

  • This is beautiful. Cant wait to see it up and 100% functional.

Heres to furthering and shaping excellent design!

  • What an eyesore!

What is it with RMIT and ruining swanston street?

I guarantee that less than 10 years from now, this building will be one of the world's fugliest.

  • Have to disagree with you on 'the worlds fugliest' but your entitled to your opinion and point of view.

  • I agree with you, RMIT has ruined some beautiful old buildings in Melbourne- and this monstrosity is going to be a blight on swanston street.

I think that for a University of Technology, I would have thought that they would be able to a construct building that's more suited to such an area, and which is dramatically more aesthetic than this- but it appears their not.

  • Destined to be disregarded, but distinctly Melbourne.. I love it.. 'nicknickbell' you have no idea, RMIT is the only one that has encouraged a contribution to Swanston St.

  • I wonder if 'ahwelb' has ever heard of Melbourne Central?

I wasn't criticising RMIT's 'contribution' to Swanston St. as 'ahwelb' described it, rather I feel that they could have more architectural taste.

Furthermore, I think your a bit odd if you think 'Destined to be disregarded' is 'distinctly melbourne'
