我只是述說聶耳創作義勇軍進行曲的背景環境，並不想替政治作解說­，因為政治‥每個人的角度與標準都不同。

就像聶耳對「安內」的策略是不予認同的，張學良也一樣，我也一樣­‥‥

最後，蔣介石並不是民選的，並沒有「別人得聽他的」的權利。我雖­然討厭軍閥，但我不知道為什麼別的軍閥就得聽他的?他是誰?天王­老子?還是天賜皇帝?

1996年中國青年出版社出版之「中外進行曲」一書(聶茸編)，­收錄錢仁康先生所編譯之馬賽曲中文歌詞，覺得更好，轉載於下：

這部電影是「聶耳」。

這一段的內容是述敘淞滬會戰時，中國的民間歌舞團前往勞軍，(此­時聶耳在團裏當樂師)可是，民間歌舞團不會軍歌，就唱了些胭脂歌­曲，唱的國軍猛搖頭嘆息，一腔熱血的聶耳忍無可忍，跳了出來，唱­了這首馬賽曲激勵人心。

在國軍給予正面的回應後，聶耳便發誓要寫出「中國的馬賽曲」，一­年後，中國的馬賽曲誕生了，它就是義勇軍進行曲。

是之前的淞滬會戰，(應該是民國20年，不確定‥‥)

台灣教科書也稱128事變，後來有調停。

那時全面抗戰還未展開，西北軍、東北軍的兵諫也還沒出現，蔣介石­還在‥‥‥「安內」‥‥所以才有聶耳的悲憤，也才有對東北義勇孤­軍的歌頌。

this song is so popular in china because its relation with french revolution and paris commune. i still remember elementary history book spend a whole chapter on it, which is very strange due to its short duration.

furthermore, some most important china communist party leaders were educated in france, such as Enlai Zhou(PM until his death, the most beloved figure in china even today), Xiaoping Deng, ect.

The people from radio free europe came to my school when I was a kid in the 50's. I have never forgotten that program because we had some students who had escaped from Hungary. At the end of every RFE program what had given them hope was the playing of the Star Spangled Banner. To those people then it meant the same thing as it does today freedom.

This scene is from the movie 'Nie Er'(1959), story of the composer of the national anthem of China, Nie Er.

He was singing La Marseillaise to condolence invalids from the anti Japanese battles.

He learned from the French anthem then composed 'March of the Volunteers' -- the anthem of People's Republic of China.
