I love this movie. I just do not like that is not a true story. Almasy never get merried in his real life and others said that he was in love with his friend (Hans Entholt) who died in the war. I wish this movie would be ture!!! Powefull LOVE!!!!

Ralph Fiennes is best in intense or trajic/conflicted roles. (ie: Wuthering Heights, The Constant Gardener)

@GogolBordelloLover i watch this film after not seeing it or really even thinking that often of it for 5 years. last week, i rented it and it took me more than 18 hours to finish it because i kept rewinding so many bits of the film. the acting was so perfect and the chemistry between ralph and kristin took me in a chokehold. and the end, i was embarrassed to cry because there were other people in the room, but i could not stop my nose from running or my eyes from dribbling tears.

please dont put the ENGLISH PATIENT with the atonment yes i have seen it but its not as near as good as the english patient, one other good movie i found is BOUND BY HONOR as epic as close as the english patient other than that not OTHER MOVIE EVEN COMES CLOSE
