  • dumb question: were you using any pedals or are all of the tones different variations on the guitar's switches?

  • I don't think that is an original SS-4L neck, pretty sure they were all jumbo Fender style headstocks. Certainly all 5 of mine are. Don't blame him or a prior owner from changing as most of them did not have a torsion rod or reinforcement and they banana badly.

  • Wow I'm jealous of your headstock! My '64 SS-2L has a huge semi-strat looking thing that is almost as big as the body lol.

  • fuckin sweet

  • Tiesco was some good stuff. Do they still make them? Nice guitar work, too. We should get together and hit sometime.

  • my dream guitar

  • Nice sounding axe and love the opening hopping blues in particular. Very entertaining.

  • Fat blues-tone!! Great!!

  • Vey nice!

  • 1:03 - that is the Hound Dog Taylor tone! Cool!

  • Use to see these for sale at Payless Drug Stores. Lots of switches and pickups with hi action!

  • Magic Sam for the win!

  • sweet dude. i have the same guitar but with the long strat style headstock.
