I was always under the impression that if the coals get too close to the shish, it will burn. Of course, I've found that's not the case, because sometimes it'll burn even though I left it real low. So, that makes me ask, WHAT, O' great True Hookah King, causes shish to set off in a firey smolderfest of doom!? Your answer is highly awaited. *bows*

@ReverendRatspeed well, sometimes if it is too juicy, it can burn. So that might be the case with you. Try gently patting it with a paper towel, not too hard, just lightly, then pack it to the rim, make sure the foil makes a tight drum on the bowl. Let me know how that works. Preferably a PM if you can.

Hey, im kinda new to smoking hookah and i gotta question, when u packed a big bowl and u wanna save some of it for later, do u jus let the coals burn out or is there a different way?

@BlazingMaryJane1 I would suggest that you take the charcoal off of the bowl. I usually plan it out so that I can smoke at least half a bowl before work, with one round of charcoal, then I heat up some more charcoal when I get home and smoke the rest.

i haven't tried it yet but i had a mix idea, all hookah hookah, but basically HH orange, clove, 7-spice, and maybe chai too although that one sucks but atleast the first 3. sounds delicious but i have yet to try it, ill post a video when i do unless you try it before me.

@YABOYALDO depending on how much are you going to spend on it...i do not prefer small hookah and if you are going for a small one try MYA QT or some other mya but if you have about 70-120 dollars then egyptian or syrian hookah...Khalil Mamoon ist the best(MYA is made in china) :) hope i helped

@therealdude100 Oh dude there definitely are ways to make your own, but it's really crappy generally unless you have nice materials. Just buy one fromSahara smoke or maharaja hookah or some website that sells them. In the end it'll pay off to just buy one because the parts are easily replaceable!

@DJmattmatics caffeine from the pepsi? why would that have anything to do with the buzz? you're not smoking the pepsi it's just functioning as a filter for the smoke. however it could be the carbonation helping with the buzz although i don't notice a change that drastic when i do it. but with the way you pack your bowls more tobacco generally gives me a massive buzz
