Like soprano( soft, fine) is to Alagna but not Gheorghiu.

So very true! She is STUNNING, DASHING! Her rendition of this moving aria is OTHERWORLDLY! I would dare to assume that Verdi himself would be completely pleased with her performance, although it seems to have been difficult to please him completely.
