@TheWanderingNight Good Mr. President Obama is a hostage of the CIA coup d etat, committed in the dark of night, December 31st, 2011: NDAA. Mr. Obama should be impeached and guilty hijackers put on trial for treason. It's the only way to save Mr. Obama and his family and establish truth for Dr. Ron Paul to be President, without a successive coup. Serious preemptive action must be taken now, to build the foundation for Dr. Ron Paul. Truth shall prevail.
Wanting to write something for the war effort, but not being able to muster himself to write a march or something patriotic while he remained in the safety of Paris, Debussy wrote this as a tribute to the Belgian soldiers instead.
From the other clips in this series, I think it's safe to assume that this is François-Joël Thiollier as well -- this magician! Thanks for uploading, this just delivered me out of a very weird mood, back into some sort of sanity...
Debussy was born during the American Civil War and died during the Great War, WWI. Yet his music brings so much peace to my heart.

And a very fine one it is too.

@branco1961 Debussy wrote it as an hommage to Albert I and his soldiers, for what they did in WWI, so the Brabançonne is no coincidence :-)

@jupinjunior yeah but it was written in 1914 and WWI just started in 1914... I know it's a coïncidence but maybe not because of the war.
