  • This dude is a bitch!!!

  • he say SSS SS SSS S S S S S S SSS SS SSS (fuck you)

  • This guy always creeped me the fucked out.

  • @0Orpheus0 I never knew this boss would exist. After I saw the theme song of banjo-kazooie :) I saw this one's music on the right. and in the grunt gmbh, I'm totally lost and can't find anything. and need 14 more puzzles to play the final battle, so I'm trying now to find him. wish me luck. btw I'll never stop playing this game, ever, because it's totally awesome, even with the crap there now is!

  • Ahh memories........Bad Bad memories.

  • hardest mother fucker eva

  • @fernando66717 but he is a pain in the ass to get to.

  • The 7 people who dislike this video are Weldar and the nuts and bolts who were in this video.

  • welder was always one of the most fun fights :)

  • This guy reminds me a lot of Chaos 6 (Sonic Adventure), albeit MUCH tougher.

  • LOL "how about a few nuts and bolts!" coincidence i think not!

  • Dear Weldar

    Fuck you

  • dude he is so easy

  • this is the only boss i never could beat

  • One drawback of Tooie - none of the bosses were hard. Even Grunty was easy.

  • Weldar's fate after defeating him seems like a foreshadow of what becomes of Grunty at the end of this game.

  • I think Grunty Industries was the hardest level in the game, I mean, even getting in there takes ages to work out

  • I DONT REMEMBER THIS FIGHT AT ALL!

  • @MrThembones Me to!! Hmmmm im Skipped the Grunty industries, and dint fithg this boss!! and in dint know that there was a boss in tha wolrd XDD

  • @megamankix20 thats weird, i still have this game but no color wire for N64, the last time I played this was years ago.

Well i have em, but they broke

  • @megamankix20 i need to fire it up again and try to find this.

  • omg, you made this look so easy! D:

  • I remember this level as a kid... I was too afraid to go in it.

  • I didnt get to him because i didnt know where he was. Unfortanately, the nintendo 64

    broke.

  • @GameRKade you Know that you can play that game in project 64, an 64 Emulator

  • @GameRKade Yay!!! My nintendo64 is fixed! Plus, I found Banjo Kazooie, which I was looking for for 2 years!

  • the heavy weldar gots hella hops!

  • I remember I avoided this boss because he was huge and vicious and the dramatic music, it all scared me >_< but eventually I got the courage to beat him.

  • How about a few Nuts 'n' Bolts?

    FORESHADOWING D:

  • 0:11 ITSA CHAIN CHOMP!

  • Visually Impaired Welding Torch

  • At 0:59, Homer Simpson

  • @girtar Doh!

  • lol weldar says whahey but it's distorted lol

  • minjy jongo was firetrucking easy. all you have to do is use gold feathers.

  • Easteist boss eva!!!!!

  • ok he is vary easy if you 1 use fire or even the click clock egg (red with yellow dots)instead of grenade eggs 2 stay all the way in the back row so you wont be sucked in. 3use trotel trot when hes using all of his attacks.4 use gold feathers 5 kill his minions after you get to a corner so youll be safe.when he jumps run and wait for a shadow in the middle of the room and go in the corner

  • All the Grunty Industries level is pure genious.

The only world which can´t be entered by normal means. It´s insanely huge, laberyntic and frustrating. You can get lost easily. And, God, Weldar it´s maybe the LAST boss you actually fight, even after Gruntilda ´cause you have to do a LOT of things before you can reach Weldar´s lair. The first time I played this game, I never found Weldar, I had to use a guide to reach him. And I spent HOURS to figure how to get inside the building lol!

  • @0Orpheus0 I totally agree. As a game designer, I know all to well that Factories are the ultimate level excuse. With so many narrow maintenance passages, storage boxes, safety hazards, and machines hard at work, they make the ultimate level. Just a big maze filled with hazards and puzzles, and it's all powered by electricity and science (Magic's younger brother).

  • GOD! I HATED THIS BOSS!!! I could never beat it....

  • Took me fucking ages to beat this guy for the first time. Only six hits required, but you had to work hard for each and every one of them.

  • "How about a few nuts 'N' bolts?

...Weldar saw the future...and it sucked.

  • @lilprogamer Way to steal some other guy's comment :|

  • @lilprogamer

yeah no pun intended until 2010 when the game came out

  • waheee!(2:16)

That sounds as captain blubber when he is happy

  • Wow, I beat the game and didn't fight this guy... Holy.

  • @NewAgeRetroHippie15 most of the bosses you don't actually have to fight. but if you want to fight him, weldar's in the air conditioning plant in grunty industries I believe.

  • That fight was soooooooo much more difficult as a kid XD we were more apt to run around more....which turned out to be the problem >.>;

  • has any one else noticed that when welder jumps in the air and comes back down he sounds like crunchy doing a back flip off of donkey kong 64

  • BEST game EVER

  • 1:05 wait a minute e.> what kind of work?

  • gay work @glyphseeker

  • basically how the fight starts

    weldar: are you a bear?

    banjo: er, no

weldar: oh ok, but i think i'll try to kill you anyway

  • All you'd really have to do it turn up his oxygen. Then you could watch the pretty fireworks as his head blew off.

  • If he can actually jump, why the fuck did he walked like a snake at the beginning?

  • Weldar has british accent!! =D

    I can feel it xD

  • @Dayserking

I always imagined him as sounding like David Bowie...

  • @Dayserking Rare is a British company so yeah, probably.

  • at 2:17

    i like when he's going *wa-hee*

  • For those of you who think this is hard because the Grenade Eggs are slower, I recently found out that Fire Eggs also work. Try it next time. It is so much easier.

  • Ever notice Bottles and Weldar both have eye problems, And both say WA-HEY!

  • Am i the only one who thought this boss was easy as hell?

  • This boss kind of reminds of Mad Jack from Donkey Kong 64

  • Man I used to be freakin' Scared of Weldar when I was little. Lol

  • Weldar: "Visually - Impaired Welding Torch"

  • See how the poor thing struggles to get in here lol

    Are you a bear

    Er no.

    Lol so blunt

  • OMG the flamethrower said Doh!

  • Why does Weldar have predicted aiming if he's visually impaired? Nintendo logic. (Kudos to those who get the reference.)

  • took me ten minutes to fight this guy

  • What becomes of Weldar in the end is what technically becomes of Grunty at the end of the game. I guess you can say this boss battle is just a foreshadow of the final boss.

  • I'd like to know how to get here, too...

  • Can anyone tell me how to find the boss?

  • @ChampionRevilo Go to the Super Magnet room as Mumbo after you've droped it from the room above use the spell. Run as fast as you can to Mumbo's to gain control of BnK again go to Humba's and transform into the washer go back to the SM room before the magnet turns back on and hit the big red switch (it work unless you're the washer) that opens the door to Weldar's room (if you don't know where that is watch SpiralMountain's LP). SUPERBANJO really helps here.

  • god, i miss this game SO FUKING MUCH!! im looking everywhere for it!

  • @xXForeverxMidnightXx If you have an Xbox 360, you can download it on XBLA. Or... theirs always Emulators.

  • @masterman280 my xbox crashed, and 3d emulators make my computer slower than banjo (ZING!)

luckily, i still have my N64, and im currently looking for it, i also managed to find the original banjo-kazooie, yay for me!

  • This fucking gives me the creeps. But is awesome

  • Weldar may not have very good vision, but he seems to have incredible foresight.

    Ironic, huh?

  • @Geckoroverse Ironic, yes. Not to spoil a joke, but you do realise that his poor vision is a play on the fact that you can go blind from not wearing a welding mask while welding, right?

  • @ChromaAurora I actually didn't know about welding mask joke.I was actually refering to his Nut's & Bolt's comment, though. You might already know that anyway.

  • Now If Dingodile was involved THAT would be scary.

  • i loved those eggs that shot a little mechanical bomb bird and you could travel around with it

  • when I was 9 I could easily defeat him, 6 years later, I've died 17 times because of him lol. It's the second half that gets me

  • weldar - my favorive boss!

  • Well now I see the reason I've always had trouble with this boss. I always tried to get close and fart the eggs instead of first person aiming from the corner.

  • check my boss video

    more coming soon

    check mine PLZ

  • Weldar: how about a few Nuts nd' Bolts. Me: NOOOO

  • @PurpleKazooie Biggest spoiler of the series ever. ;) :P

  • @PurpleKazooie wow so the xbox game came from this O_O that game is nothing compare to the two first games...

  • Wel

  • I feel sorry for Weldar with him working for Grunty he had to kill Banjo... Also I think he's the only boss that has a conversation with you...

  • lol u made it look so easy but i always die...

  • Anyone annoyed by how much Grenade Eggs are overused in this game? Sure, they blow up, but the other eggs are barely in use compared to Grenade Eggs. Plain ones just become obsolete.

  • does anyone remember how much work u had to do to even get to this boss? compare this to mingy jongo, where all u had to do was to walk in xD

  • I just love that song "Here comes Trouble" whenever it comes on it gives you a feeling to wonder what's going to happen next

  • Comment removed

  • a balloon makes a bigger explosion! i expected a challenge of the player after defeating the boss to have to duck in cover behind...maybe a broken piece of the boss while the boss explodes. or else you get damaged and lose health from the blast impact. just TheDylanJoyce idea

  • this game has so funny dialouges like "doh! i must remember to wear my glasses"

and many more funny texts, i always laugh at them

  • This boss reminds me of mad jack from donkey kong 64

  • why does he make electricity sounds as well as shoot electricity when he is a welding torch?

  • Ive seen thig guy on many "hardest bosses ever" lists.

I realy dont understand how this guy can give ANYONE much trouble

  • I really hate this flammable freak, but he would've been perfect with a few simple tweaks.

  • @MYSELF (BANJ0KAZ0OIE): IT RHYMES

  • @BANJ0KAZ0OIE I JUST REALIZED THAT

  • 2:17

    WUH HEEEEY

  • did anyone else notice that weldar did absolutely nothing to do with welding? closest thing was the elctric bolts he would fire...

  • Nrrgh?! A Banjo-Kazooie Nuts 'n' Bolts reference?!

  • I wonder why he dragged himself out when that room he was in was tall enough for him to hop out. But it is more dramatic when he drags himself.

  • hmm at the distance you stay to shoot eggs i always get sucked in

i need to stay in the corner of the wall

maybe it's only like that in the PAL version but it makes the battle mutch harder because of the electrical floor I can't go go in the corner

  • poor weldar

  • anyone noticed that it was always kazooie's big mouth who gets you in trouble

  • @Dimebag001 That is so true dude! SHE CAUSES MOST OF THE BOSSES!...Like Mr.Patch..But if it wasn't for her, there would be like a couple of bosses, so thank her for that

  • subzero912 ur in luck both banjo tooie and kazooie r on live arcade for u to buy on xbox same game u loved only remastered

  • Weldar won, but Jenny Foxworth lost!

  • LOL I remember back then when I was like 8 I used to play this game and I knew how to beat all the bosses, I wish I could play this know, but I got rid of my N64 and got a 360.

  • its times like these where i'm glad i still have the orignal and my n64

  • How about a few "Nuts 'n Bolts"!

  • is it really just a coincidence

  • "don't make me come after you!"

haha xD isen't that what bosses always do?

  • This boss is fairly more easy than you all think. I'll show you soon once my video is ready. I only need 2 minutes to beat it.

  • hes firin his lazor

  • lol on 3:51

  • Comment removed

  • let him land on you when you are down to 1 hit point and make sure he makes you flat. He will keep attacking you after you die in boss replay mode.

  • yeah, the captain Blubber comes back at the jolly rogers lagoon

  • captain blubber again? 3:35 thats a coincidence

  • doesnt that sound captain bluber voice? 2:18

  • wait a moment he says "Nuts and bolts" banjo-kazooie:nuts and bolts? 1:40

  • : ( poor weldar

  • I felt sorry for weldar when I saw him enter the room the first time and when the game called him visually impaired..

even so, he puts up a damn good fight to first-timers which is why I quit feeling sorry for him pretty soon.

gotta love how his theme screams DRAMA~

  • hehe he's full of gas

  • I miss this game!!!

  • Wouldn't Weldar scraping on the ground damage his metal casing and Clockwork Kazooie Eggs are a risk in themselves.

  • so easy use fire eggs those work better

  • I hated this level when i was little, it freaked me out.

  • I played this game when I was 9....

This boss was the most scariest thing I had ever seen!

    It gave me nightmares :(

And it STILL scares me today xD

  • @KingBlackDragn

    LOL poor baby :(

  • @jaerirob644 I know :(

  • @Dragonjoel1 It's huge, I'm small. it sucks me into it. Who WOULDN'T be scared?

  • @KingBlackDragn o ok lol

  • omg this is the one boss i never beat... now i dont even know how to freakin play and i dont have the game

  • Grunty should equip some wheels to Weldar...I mean looks how he walks,,,wait he is half blind right...and we are in Banjo universe...oh the disaster!

  • best game ever

  • "How about a few nuts and bolts?"

    Weldar can see the future!

  • @InsaneBuzzNeini lol i was just thinikg that

  • @InsaneBuzzNeini That's what I was thinking when I played this boss!

  • @InsaneBuzzNeini and a crappy one at that...

  • Did you know that if you 'Rat-a-tat' pecked every enemy that Weldar threw at you before they hit the ground, you could get a honeycomb from all three, instead of just the last one.

  • I am still amazed why I've had that game for (what?) 7 years, and I found out how to defeat this big guy about 2 years after fighting him!

  • I think that fire kazooie is very usefulin this battle to kill the minions because the floor is electrified

  • 2:18

    WAHAYYYYYY!

    LOLXD

  • Lol. A large toilet cleaner.

  • 1:40

How bout a few "Nuts and Bolts?"

no thanks ill stick with banjo tooie thank u =)

  • so true

  • omg, welder must've been hinting at the future when he said nuts n bolts

  • nope just to make a pun involving the attack he was using at the moment

  • Oh and Clanker :D Clanker's cool

  • i wished clanker would've been in that factory :(

  • I hope they´re going to make a part 4 of Banjo kazooie, and not with the stupid car thingy but make a real adventure with new levels, in Banjo style (not nuts and bolts) And some old nice char's like Weldar indeed, I also liked mr. patch very much. But please make a nice game of the next Banjo kazooie one

  • IT'S THE TOILET PLUNGER!!!!!!!!!

  • He sure took his death well.

"Oh well, looks like my welding days are over..."

    Poor guy.

  • Weldar:Too bad i never got married,

i looked forword to that "welding" day

  • 1:44 OMG NUTS AND BOLTS

    is that just coincidence

  • i mean 1:39

  • when i tried this boss fight i used clockwork kazooie eggs before weldar electrified the floor and fire eggs after he did

  • nice theme

  • I found this kinda easy. Tricky but not as hard as everyone says. Getting to Weldar is much harder.

  • lol nuts and bolts the new game

  • Think about it, this game was made, somewhere near 2000. This was WAY before Rare got bought out. So no, it wasnt a hint to the next game.

  • "So, do you guys remember Banjo-Tooie?" "Huh?" "You know, the sequel to that Nintendo 64 game Banko-Kazooie?" "Oh...yeah." "Remember the boss in that game, Weldar?" "Not really...vaguely..." "Do you remember what he says in the middle of the fight?" "..." "He says, 'how about some nuts and bolts?'" "...OK..." "That's the new game." "...Wait, what?" "Tell me--what are cars made of?" And thus, Banjo-Kazooie loses its shine.
  • Weldar was hard until I beat him the first time, then I never lost.
