Radanovich has voted for both the Dept. of Homeland Security and Patriot act, which allow the government to watch over your every move without your permission. He's also voted for the Bush Era bailouts, aka Paulson Bailout Bill. He's only really opposed to government take over when his party isn't the one doing it. Furthermore, he has voted with the Republican party 93% of the time, showing a complete lack of autonomy.

The statistics are sound. They are not disputed. On a personal level, I could not get insurance if I had to. I have a pre-existing condition. I will be dead long before those my age. Can that count as your one person?

I am disabled and run my own business. I am very well informed. There is no open enrollment. There is no insurance that I can afford. I suppose that I should just close up shop and go on Medicare. Then you can help pay for my medical care.

Mine and my family's experience is totally different. There is open enrollment! My wife has extreme Bi-polar disorder. She is able to get any insurance she wants during open enrollment. she did, and we have also qualified for additional insurance. My good friend Gary was declared a quadriplegic after an accident. He has no insurance, but the hospital gave him the best care possible anyway, and then wrote off the bill. He is currently on disability. Get some education on the real facts.

That is the biggest lie I've ever heard. No one can be denied healthcare in America--it is against the law! I have plenty of friends who have gone to the hospital at one time or another at a time when they didn't have insurance--and they still received excellent care, with the option to pay over time or have it written off by the hospital. Get your facts straight, because you're making an uninformed statement, and quite frankly and ass out of yourself!

And those that get bills in the tens of thousands lose their homes. Medical bills are the largest single contributor to mortgage forclosures. If you fail to pay, you lose your credit rating and those who have health insurance pick up the bill in their premiums. There is no free health care.

There are many private charities and healthcare foundations that are set up to cover such costs--and do. Losing your home do to a medical tragedy is not necessary. Maybe more people should have mortgage insurance or maybe buy a little less home, so that such a scenario wouldn't bankrupt them. Ever heard of paying for things up front, instead of financing? Some people (not wealthy) pay for their homes in 7 years or less, though good money management.
