Kumu was wise to leave the halau to do the work. The road you speak of looking back and seeing the other marchers with torches was the same spot that a Zen meditation group spent 3 days and nights in the forest in meditation. They saw the marchers with torches reflection on the forest trees near Kaniakapupu in the middle of the night. They could not speak till the 3 days was over. I hear they will come when you are at Kaniakapupu. Guess who THEY are? Much meditation. Much reflection
