  • There isn't that many half mexican half black mixtures or with dominicans and ricans either.. So april is wrong on the one. In the west coast however you'll find blexicans which is black/mexican and also asias/mexican white/mexican.. I went to California for a month this summer and I only saw one puerto rican and no dominicans, so idk if you'd find a mix of rican/mexican or dominican in Cali.

  • Aztecs, Mayas, Tarahumaras, and other tribes use to trade with Natives here in the US. Some of the tribes in the US were originially Mexican as well.. Comanches were mexicans, and there is a few cherokee and lakota people who live in Mexico. Viva La Raza baby!! Oh and btw for all those who don't know, Mexican isn't in part of Central which isn't even a continent, and it sure isn't south American.. It is part of the North American Continent along with the US and Canada

  • So if you were to total it out, in the US there is a lot more mexican americans overall. Plus Mexicans have been in the US longer than Ricans, so we are more American than they are... Boriquas did you forgot about the West coast when it was Mexico??? Texas, Cali, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, and Parts of Nebraska.. all that was Mexico, until mexico lost it after the treaty of Hidalgo was signed. So Mexicans were in the US waaayyyy before you ricans came in your sail boats haha.

  • He should really do some research on Mexican-Americans in the military. Yeah of course maybe there weren't any Mexican-American soldiers from NY during Vietnam, World world 1 and 2, but there were a bunch from the west coast who were heroes and proud to be both mexican and american. The east coast has it's puerto ricans, but homeboy, go to the midwest and west coast and you'll see nothing but Mexicans and a whole lotta crazy mexican americans.

  • Wether Hispanic or not, people enjoy it. Another thing, you don't see a bunch of rican restaurants or hear people talk about how good rican food is. No not cuchi frito that's ghetto shit, that don't count. You'll find a bunch of mexican restaurants, and you'll see a bunch of ads for mexican food in almost every god damn state because people love mexican food. Hey and I read those comments some other person posted about ricans in the military.

  • For instance, Puerto Ricans are the ones who always depends on welfare a lot more than a Mexican. illegals can't even apply for such benefits because the have no papers. You don't see many Mexicans living in the projects, just Ricans and blacks. That's because Mexicans are too busy busting their asses off to pay rent. They enjoy hard work. Another thing, name a Puerto Rican holiday that gets celebrated here in the states.. Hmmm idk but people in the states like to party on cinco de mayo

  • I disagree with you Aprilbabyxxx68.. Where are you from? I'm a Mexican-American born and raised in NYC. I love how I grew up listening to Old School hip hop, and I even had a pair of British Knights when I was a kid, some pumas and addidas, haha I was even learning how to break. Anyway it's not that I have anything against ricans, but, since you are stating that ricans help out the community more than mexicans, well mami, your all wrong.

  • VIVA MEXICO.

  • I love NYC because of the many Latino cultures. I am Mexican - American (1st generation) and love to see the latin community come together as a whole. Such color and diversity. I think celebrating your heritage, and ancestry is a great thing, if it from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Nigeria, Senegal, Ireland, Italy, Russia. Variety is beautiful.

  • i would love to be at one of these parades

  • @mrchadbar ...the next one will be on 09/19/10 at madison avenue.

  • Mexicans in NY?o_O

  • another fact..MEXICANS are the largest hispanic population in NY then Ricans for the fact that now mexicans get mixed with morenos..dominicans..ricans and stuff but we are takin over but we are not known for takin over as cholos or fightin shit..we known for hard workers and helpin out alot the community ..i work for the city thats how i know

  • @aprilbabyxxx68 The overwhelming majority of Mexicans who live in NYC are illegal. Funny how you left that out. All of us Ricans as you call us are here legally.

  • @gfc56 ..and dont u guys live of the goverment like in welfare ?? u left that out also funny fact .. we know what it feels to work hard at pay FULL RENT and FOOD not coupns and section 8.. soo better off we both stay shut..

  • @aprilbabyxxx68 Hey asshole, we Rican had fought in many USA wars becoming heroes and many other contributions to USA. Don’t talk shit about Ricans because your illegal women come to this country to have babies like 10 or more so USA can take care them because your own country don’t .

  • @aprilbabyxxx68 We spent millions in illegal Mexican and legal Mexican as well, especially in Jail, welfare, healthcare for free and homeland security to keep your drugs dealers away from USA. In New York all of you take plan 8 and welfare so don’t talk shit about Ricans. Why don’t you go back to your beloved Mexico?

  • @aprilbabyxxx68 Do You know who is helping you in Chicago agaisnt the Arizona Law? It is a Puerto Rican.

  • @gfc56 yah and your people over in rico dont pay taxes you piece of shit too

  • @chanel7881 The U.S. Government classifies Puerto Rico as an independent taxation authority by Federal Law 48 U.S.C. § 734. Puerto Rico residents are required to pay U.S. federal taxes, import/export taxes,[79] federal commodity taxes,[80] social security taxes etc. Individuals working with the Federal Government pay federal income taxes while the rest of the residents are required to pay federal payroll taxes (Social Security[81] and Medicare),[82] as well as

  • @chanel7881 Commonwealth of Puerto Rico income taxes. All federal employees,[83] plus those who do business with the federal government,[84] in addition to Puerto Rico-based corporations that intend to send funds to the U.S.,[85] and some others[86] also pay federal income taxes. In 2009, Puerto Rico paid $3.742 billion into the US Treasury.[87] What about the privious years? This is this year alone. We contributed with Taxes and military, etc

  • @chanel7881 Since 1917 Puerto Ricans have been included in the compulsory draft whenever it has been in effect and more than 400,000 Puerto Ricans have served in the United States Armed Forces. Puerto Ricans have participated in all U.S. wars since 1898, most notably World War I, World War II, the Korean and Vietnam wars, as well as the current Middle Eastern conflicts.

  • @chanel7881 Several Puerto Ricans became notable commanders, five have been awarded the Medal of Honor, the highest military decoration in the United States, and several Puerto Ricans have attained the rank of General or Admiral, which requires a Presidential nomination and Senate confirmation, as is the case of judges and ambassadors.[91]

  • @loveangel71 SO! WHO CARES!!!

  • @chanel7881 In World War II,[92] the Korean War[93] and the Vietnam War[94] Puerto Ricans were the most decorated Hispanic soldiers and in some cases were the first to die in combat.[95][96]
