@Kreigen26 I don't think these car's are new enough to have computer chips and circuit boards. We have a 1973 Ford F100 that could survive a EMP because it's not a rolling computer.
Of course these people mostly all remembered the Battle of Britain just a few years before and they toughed that out! I'm sure they were set for fighting off ANYTHING!
BTW - I love at 2:31 where gasoline (petrol) must have pooled there where the attendant overfilled all the cars that came through. Don't stand THERE during the "heat flash!"
