im doing this in highschool now, but it has to include a parachute

@YourBiggestNerd My own design included a parachute. I used 3 lightweight plastic bags (the kind you find in the supermarket), put some string on it, and attached that to the egg.

Worked like a charm.

i did that in high school, I made like a big ball of straws to absorb the shock, we were 4 straws short, the egg fell out

i made this at school for NLT with just 6 pieces of A4 printing paper and it had to catch the egg being dropped 3 meter ( 9 or 10 feet i believe ) high and it succeeded, pretty nice thing to do :)

@NLDommelsch Jazeker, ik moest het voor een soortgelijk vak, ANW (algemene natuurwetenschappen) doen. 3 meter valt waarschijnlijk nog wel mee, was het gelukt?

@Snellevleermuis ging geweldig :) had van 3 vellen buizen gemaakt door ze op te rollen, en van de andere drie een piramide gemaakt en die tussen de poten gehangen en dan met plakband de poten zo rondom binden dat ze niet doorzakte en de punt van de piramide de grond niet raakte. geen krasje niets :) een andere klasgenoot had de wereldcup nagemaakt :p net als adam eig, maar dan moest hij erin gooien, tuut was veel te klein om te werken, leuk idee though :p lukte die vna jou ook?

@NLDommelsch Slim ontwerp! Wij moesten niet perse opvangen, als het maar heel aankwam. Ik had een parachute gemaakt, werkte top. En verder ook een soort koker zoals Adam hier. Werkstukje erbij gemaakt en een 8.6 ofzo gekregen :P

lol they should've done the naked egg drop thing, where they dont attach anything to the egg, and they have to build a container that will prevent the egg from breaking when it reaches the ground
