one way you can tell the G1 transformers was made in japan is if you look at the humans, spike and sparkplug, spike looks almost exactly like amuro ray or camille bidan from gundam and zeta gundam, another robot anime produced around the same time as transformers G1...

The Brainmasters (minus Star Saber) we recieved without the componants to combine them though and four out of the six Decepticon Brestforce; re-issued and re-coloured as Autobots, with no combining gimmick. The extreamily bad Asian English Dubbed versions were not included, however it was included on the Headmasters set. Look on YouTube and you'll see clips from the bad dub and techincally speaking ulploading ripped episodes on DVd to YouTube is considered illegal!

@TheDardanianKnight The TF timeline alternates by the time of the third season for not having the movie, but having the Scramble City OVA instead at the time and fast forwarding the events of season 3 to 2010 from 2006. Then they disregarded the U.S. forth season and re-did it as the Headmasters anime, which all lead to Super God Masterforce, then this, then Zone etc.
Actually it can't be because Transformers is an English Language cartoon, not an anime like this. The only transformers anime is called Transformers Robots in Disguise (or Transformers Car Robots in Japan), but this video is definitely NOT that anime version but looks like a different anime, so it can't be transformers, just an obvious RIPOFF of transformers.

That Toei the AStudio was, ist also an Problem. The Transormers in the Series are not the Same as yoi could buy in the 80s.

@TheMangaka234 Erm... not THAT true: the Transformers G1 toy line that spawned the series was actually a merge of three toy lines made by Takara Tomy after Hasbro got rights of distribution on USA. Then Takara Tomy got license to dub Transformers G1 and later spawn the gross of the animated franchise, starting with Headmasters on the 90s.
In many shows like this, (or Voltron, or any other super fancy transformation scene) wouldn't the enemy have the chance to kill them like 30 times over while they were forming their supercomplicated light show effect? Or does the light show and theme song inflict stun damage on the enemy causing them to lose initiative and causing confusion that lasts for 3D6 actions? (must invest in strobe lights and japanse pop stars to prepare for my ultimate fight!)

It kind of looks like Ultra Magnus transformed into a Bigger Ultra Magnus and then Transformed into Optimus Prime as a Jet. This based on the head and face designs.
@TheR0flman if we are going to talk about rip-off, TF is a rip-off from Gobots. There are difrent titles there machines and robot can change. But as you might know, Hasbro purches the rights for gobots from hanna barbera in order to keep the ide for them self. They did not relise that Voltron and Gundam was on the way. XD

I guess it's because I'm used to this stuff that it doesn't seem too complicated, he starts out as a jet with a big block attached to it which drops off, it is now a jet, the front part just become a shield and then a sword, so that's explained, the jet becomes the robot body with the small pilot robot forming the chest and face, and then the block part that separated earlier becomes the big robot body with him forming the chest

Sorry bat thats not True. Toei was the first ANimation Studio for the American Transformers Sesaon, later American Season where made by Korean Animation Studios.
That Toei the AStudio was, ist also an Problem. The Transormers in the Series are not the Same as yoi could buy in the 80s.
The Problem was taht Hasbro made an Redisign on many Toys (most Colorchanges) but Toei used the original Japanese Design of the Toys.

@BankaiIchigo12345 SUNBOW MARVEL animated Transformers and believe it all not the American hero G.I Joe with TOEI ANIMATION, after the movie they used the Korean studio AKOM which was cheaper, when Transformers ended with the Rebirth, TOEI continued Transformers with THREE ANIMES and ONE OVA.
The Toys were originally Diaclone and Microman by a JAPANESE company called TAKARA, HASBRO brought the toys are turned them into Transformers.

Transformers Cars Robots (known in US by the name Transformers Robots in Disguise) is an anime which is just a Japanese RIPOFF of Transformers. Now I don't hate anime. I am a fan of Japanese animation. However I believe credit should be given where it is deserved. Japan did NOT make the original transformers. That was AMERICAN made.

One day at a toy fair, people from the company Hasbro saw these toys and said 'Hey these toys are cool, can we import them to America, give them new names, two different factions and a backstory and Takara said yes you can and Transformers was born!

The cartoons were drawn in Japan, or Korea in some instances. The bottom line is Transformers is NOT 100% American! Now everything after the oringinal series starting with Headmasters you cant find in the US as neither of the fallowing series was really picked up and dubbed. Also a line from the TF bio page,"Written and recorded in America, the series was animated in JAPAN and South Korea". So techically yes it was made in japan,maybe not the first but the fallowing were for G1.....

@TheMangaka234 Erm... not THAT true: the Transformers G1 toy line that spawned the series was actually a merge of three toy lines made by Takara Tomy after Hasbro got rights of distribution on USA. Then Takara Tomy got license to dub Transformers G1 and later spawn the gross of the animated franchise, starting with Headmasters on the 90s.

In many shows like this, (or Voltron, or any other super fancy transformation scene) wouldn't the enemy have the chance to kill them like 30 times over while they were forming their supercomplicated light show effect? Or does the light show and theme song inflict stun damage on the enemy causing them to lose initiative and causing confusion that lasts for 3D6 actions? (must invest in strobe lights and japanse pop stars to prepare for my ultimate fight!)

But as you might know, Hasbro purches the rights for gobots from hanna barbera in order to keep the ide for them self. They did not relise that Voltron and Gundam was on the way. XD

@didjargo okay, it's not that complex, okay? the gimmick of that series was a small robot that functions as a vehicle's driver, the vehicle turns into a body and the small robot forms into the chest and face, that's all. and Star Saber, being the leader, got an upgrade module that he can combine with to make a bigger, more powerful robot, okay? I really wish people would stop acting like is so complicated.

Jet breaks into 3 segments, robot pops out of cockpit. Back part of jet transforms into robot. little robot goes in big robot and transforms in chest piece to form with other jet part that transforms into robot to form super crazy robot. Did I cover it all?

I guess it's because I'm used to this stuff that it doesn't seem too complicated, he starts out as a jet with a big block attached to it which drops off, it is now a jet, the front part just become a shield and then a sword, so that's explained, the jet becomes the robot body with the small pilot robot forming the chest and face, and then the block part that separated earlier becomes the big robot body with him forming the chest
