What did this amp sell for? I have one with a master volume mod through the vibrato channel. the vibrato is not active. how much does this decrease its value?
It sold for a premium because of the tubes and the originality. One with a master volume is worth about $500 wholesale (buyers market) and about $700 retail (sellers market). A master volume version is a completely different amp than this one even if they have the same name.
i just looked @ the same Amp. a blackface supposed 1967. the knobs are chipped quite well, and the tubes were def not orignial tubes. Guitar Center wanted $1850 for it. best amp i've played. but i think it's a bit much on the price.. how much should this be worth?
$1850 is cheap for the best amp you have ever played.
Seriously though, Check the transformers date codes to make sure that they are original and look to make sure that it hasn't been retolexed. If all that and the Speakers are original (you can search up the correct date codes for all this on Google) $1850 is a fair price.
It is a 1990's model SG Custom that Gibson did for a limited run. It is a spec replica of a 1968 SG custom. If it has block greenish fake pearl inlays that is what he has. Check the serial number. The 1st and 5th numbers = the date the guitar was made. So 9868768 would be a guitar made in 1997.
Nice break up! The SG sounds sweet thru it. Too bad it was in storage for so long...lonely with no one to play with...at least it has a happy home now!

Can you please tell me what type of Jensen speakers they used in this wonderful amp?
Thank you in advance

I believe they were C12N
They were dated 67' but did not have the model number codes on them. They were ceramic, large magnet, gold foil fender logo.
Hope that helps.
