@boleon121 I believe the song is actually about the fable of the Scorpion and the Frog (Dog/Insert animal based on whoever is retelling the story.)

It does have themes of betrayal, possibly drugs or politicians or whatever, but I think if you look at the lyrics critically - they are pretty straight forwardly retelling the story.

Dammit, can hardly hear Dave in the verses! Just JM. I don't get why we get backing vocals in the verses (as it should be) but not in the choruses, where Dave could clearly do with a little backup. Anyway, great song and sounds like a good performance.......just can't hear DM in the verse.
