  • Hello Elizabeth, I bought you book and start reading... so we will communicate in the other form. What I feel is not so bad as all the stories I read, but that is maybe because I always eat a lot of fruit and veggies... maybe too much. But I also ate too much of the other stuff.... stressed means: Chocolate, Haribo, Cakes, Cokes and etc... and I think time passes and my body said: not more, I can not take it more!!! Thank you for answering! Ingrid

  • Hi Ingrid,

Thanks for joining the support site. I'm sure you will benefit from the information in the e-book. A lot of people's stories are very serious particularly if they have kept pushing themselves or not eating properly. Keep up the good work with lots of fruit and vegetables and stay away from those sweets and Cokes!

  • I am back... first time I am writing a comment.... sorry. Many mentioned lysin and Arginin and some say you should get 500mg Lysin a day. I am very happy to know what I have... since I've been complaining quite a long time. I am going home to check my Thiroid since I have hashimoto. The doctor here in Russia said that EPS triggers Hashimoto and High blood pressure. I woul love to read your comments. Thansk in advance.

  • Hi again,

Lysine can help as it is a good anti-viral but it is not essential. You can also eat quality protein foods like fish, chicken and eggs which are naturally high in Lysine. Tiredness is typical of EBV but can be worsened by an underactive thyroid. It is worth checking out to make sure you are addressing all possible triggers.

  • Hello, I was also diagnosed with EBV. I am in Russia now. I had panavir oral spray, injections, Valtrex and I have still a sore throat and all the time tired and not to say about the pain in my joints or muscle. Two weeks ago I stopp with all milk products (I am allergic to milk), wheat and its products, almonds, potatoes, tomatos, Bell Pepper, Aubergine, chocolate and so on. I am eating a lot of fruits and veggies...but also rice. Now I read what you wrote and even taht I should not eat

  • Hi there,

Sorry to hear you are feeling ill. It sounds like you are focusing on a good fresh fruit and vegie diet. Well done.

Excess grains can trigger acidity and inflammation so I tell my patients to cut them right down or out of their diet. You can trial a small amount and see how your symptoms go. I would also look at adding some magnesium, zinc, B vitamins, vitamin C and fish oils to help relieve your symptoms.

  • My doctor gave me a 3 week regiment of 500mg antibiotics when I got EBV. For the past 2 months I've had all the symptoms she listed out in this video: bad digestion, dry skin, rashes and add recurring dizziness on top of that.

  • Hi there,

Unfortunately antibiotics are of no use in treating viruses like Epstein Barr. They are only for bacterial infections. In fact it is possible that the antibiotics have triggered your rash and bad digestion.

I would recommend you replenish your healthy gastrointestinal flora with probiotics like acidophillus and bifido bacteria, start on a healthy liver diet with plenty of fresh vegetables and water and add some magnesium, B vitamins and essential oils.

    Best Wishes

  • Sorry for my english , i need help with that virus pls :((((

  • Hi there my name is john i was diagnosed with ebv 5weeks ago my doctor give me some homeopatics that help me and i can again go to school but now. This days i feel not so good , i had headache and diaphorised in bed and 37 celsius , i think that ebv is back again and i want pls some cures that can help me with that virus , thank you for helping me . And i didnt have a mono

  • Hi John,

Sorry to hear you are ill. Your priority is to get your immune system fighting off the virus with high dose vitamin C and zinc. You will also need to repair your adrenal glands with magnesium and the B complex. A low carb, high protein diet with lots of fresh fruit, vegetables and pure water is important.

If your symptoms persist you may need to do some liver cleansing. Rest as much as possible and let any fever run its course. For more advice please refer to my e-book.

  • This is awesome! Thank you so much! I have mono right now and it's the sickest ove been my whole life. Everything you have said i agree with. I'm 17 and i am getting ready to go to college for natural healthcare. what do you specialize in? Also i had the worst soar throat the first day or so and i had remembered that garlic was antiviral so i juiced carrotts and put a lot of garlic in the juicer with it and it helped so much.I only had the soar throat for about 24 hours.

  • Hi there,

Thanks for your post. Glad you've got rid of your sore throat. Yes garlic is an excellent anti-viral, whilst carrots are high in healing vitamin A. You could also

add some ginger which acts as an anti-inflammatory.

Your natural healthcare course sounds interesting. I hope you get to focus on the health areas that interest you. My speciality is immune disorders like mono, CFS,

    and recurrent infections.

Best wishes for a fast recovery.

  • I was diagnosed with EBV 2 weeks ago. But I have been sick since having mono at 14 years of age. I am now 19 and still suffering. I have no clue what to do. Sometimes I am so sick I am bedridden. Since the mono I have had skin rashes that look like eczema, get sick often and have awful stomach problems such as constipation. But every time I go to the doctors I am "fine" so they say. The blood tests always come back okay except for the EBV is there. Can EBV be related to celiacs disease? HELP!

  • I've Been sick for about 4 days now and it burns when i swallow my own saliva, I was wondering that if this virus persists for abot 4 week I would go mad of the pain, so does the whole time it hurts this bad or is only the begining? Oh I have fever too, but for that I take motrin, but there is a lot of white stuff in my tonsils, Back of it, in part of my tongue and I think is been spreading!

  • Hi Susan, Thanks for your post. Sorry to hear you have been feeling so ill. The acute sore throat normally only lasts a few days. Try the hot lemon and honey drink plus the gargle with salt in warm water. For sleeping, try dissolving a lozenge in your mouth before going to sleep. If your sore throat persists with the white coating on your tonsils, then it is worth checking with your doctor to see if it is a secondary strep infection. Hope you feel better soon. Elizabeth
  • @monocures i went to the cleanic, and the doctor took a sample of the infection with a Qtip sort of thing, she gave me amoxicilin for 10 days, but the pain was the same and then i went to the doctor again for a physical check up and i asked her what what i my throat, and she said i din't had mono, or strep throat , said that i was fine, my tonsils are better is been like 3 weeks now,

thank you so much for the reply

  • Search under Bob Beck Protocol, or blood electrification, I used it to sucessfully tame my CFS.

  • It's nice to see that there's alot of people on here that are going through the same thing. I have had these symptoms for about 3 - 4 weeks now. I started feeling better but I went back to work last week and within a few days I couldn't even get out of bed. So I decided to take this week off work to rest and try to recover, I just hope it's not going to keep me out too much longer. after watching this I have learned alot about what I may be doing wrong. Thank you for putting this video up.

  • Im in the same situation atm :) I thought I had recovered, went back to normal, and 2 days later I got really really sick. Now im in Bed and can't do anything. Oh and my throat has turned into the gate of Mordor. Damn annyoing :(

  • Thank you for such an informative video!

  • About a week ago I read through your e-book and have been taking most of the supplements you recommended, including loads of vitamin C! I have taken some time off to completely rest to try to get over it. How long would you expect it to take untill I am completley recovered? Doctors are pretty useless really and I have given up going to see them!

  • Hi Robert,

Once you are on the supplements, most people bounce back within a couple of weeks to a month. Make sure you are resting up, eating a low carb diet and getting plenty of sleep.

Some cases of chronic Epstein Barr virus are due to the liver being sluggish or congested, so I would recommend you do some liver cleansing. Start with 1/2 lemon in warm water on rising, then add a more potent liver tonic when you are a bit stronger.

Hope this helps. Let me know how you go.

    Elizabeth

  • Hi, I have been suffering with this virus for 6 months now :(. I made the mistake of not completely resting straight away, as after the initial few days in bed I felt ok to work and not quite bad enough to take time off. However the swollen glands, tonsils and general lethargy has continued right up untill now.

  • Hi again,

If your sore throat persists then make sure you do not have a secondary infection like strep throat. Your doctor can take a swab to test for this.

In the meantime drink the lemon, ginger, garlic and honey tea three times a day. Adding a pinch of cayenne pepper will give it more of a punch. Yes rest and more rest is essential.

    Good luck!

  • tea that my dad used to make me when I was ill. I have made it since and it is very effective at attacking bacteria, because it helps to induce the sweating it out aspect, lol. I have been keeping up fluids (mostly water) but my appetite hasn't been fabulous. Been having soups and toast the last few days. And brown rice! I'm a bit of a fitness freak too and am going MENTAL without exercise! Wonder when I'll be able to get back into it..oh well. Rest and MORE rest I suppose, haha. Thankyou again!

  • Oh thank you dearly for your reply!

Yes, i have been doing salt water gargles once or twice a day, and have also been using this spray called "FESS" to try and clear the sinus passages a little more, which helps somewhat as it is saline based too. I have just finished taking the last steroid tonight, but am still plagued with this awful throat no matter WHAT I take! I have been eating fresh pineapple in my morning breakfast fruit salads, but perhaps I should try this honey garlic ginger lemon

  • make do with the supps I currently have: Olive Leaf Extract (twice a day, 5ml), zinc +c (2 a day), panadol and nurofen for the pain (wish it worked better!), a steroid doc administered for the tonsil inflammation (though I wish that was stronger too!) and plenty of fresh fruit salads, antiox organic yoghurts, soups and whatever else is stomachable. I am going nUTS not being able to exercise or sing (I am a performer and musician), and can't WAIT to get back into it, whenever that will be. Thanks

  • Hi there,

You are taking some great nutrients to start off with. You could also add some anti-inflammatory foods like ginger, garlic, turmeric, raw pineapple and cayenne to help your sore throat. A salt water gargle is also worth trying.

For the mucous have you tried a steam inhalation? Adding an essential oil like tea tree or eucalyptus will make it even more effective.

Keep up the good work and

I'm sure you will bounce back well soon.

  • I have been scouring the net for DAYS on end looking for the most straight forward yet effective cures for glandular fever, and finding your videos has given me new hope! I have probably only felt the effects of the virus for about 1 1/2 weeks now, however I have been suffering terribly energy-wise, with loose stools, swollen glands, that damned mucous that won't budge and of course, the worst tonsil pain that makes me want to cry!!!! I have run out of money until next Thursday, so will have to

  • Thank you for this, Ms. Noble. Very informative. I am looking forward to learing more from your book.

  • The amount of vitamin C to reach bowel tolerance is different for everyone. Some people can get to bowel intolerance after 5g of vitamin C (taken at 1g every hour), others may need 50g. The idea is to go just below bowel tolerance. So if your bowel tolerance is 5g of vitamin C, then aim for 4 g of vitamin C the next day. If your tolerance is 50g aim for 45g the next day. As you get better you will find your bowel tolerance will decrease. Yes appetite can temporarily reduce with this therapy.

  • Yes taking vitamin C to bowel tolerance is a therapy I discuss in my program. The idea is to saturate your tissues with vitamin C by taking 1g of vitamin C every hour. When your tissues are saturated any excess will spill over into the intestines causing loose stools.

At this point your production of white blood cells which kill the virus, is optimised and any pain or inflammation is reduced. Take enough vitamin C so you are just below bowel tolerance so you don't get prolonged loose stools.

  • interesting....so after you acheive bowel tolerance what would be the recommended dose thereafter? Would you say 1 cup a day? I bought the vitamin c powder yesterday and its 5000mg im using 16oz styrophone cups filled with half cups of water...i also notice my appetite decreasing..is this normal?

  • Hi Elizabeth question i read that taking vitamin C till u have diareeah is the best way to get over mono symptons the fastest...the source recommended buying the vitamin powder (c) what do u think of this ?

  • Hello, I was wondering for how long I will actually remain contagious for after my glandular fever symptoms have subsided. I tried googling it but nothing really came up...

  • Hi,

The Epstein Barr virus that causes glandular fever is shed from the throat during the illness and up to a year after the infection. The virus can also be re-activated and shed from the throat intermittently. Many healthy people can carry and spread the virus for life. It is thought that this is the main reservoir for transmission of the virus.

    Hope this answers your question.

    Elizabeth

  • daaaaaaaamn...

    thanks

  • Im very glad i saw this video, i have actually made all seven of these mistakes!

I have had symptoms of EBV for 7 months now. This advice looks very helpful.

    Thank you!

  • This is some good advice. It's amazing, you look and sound just like my local GP, who diagnosed me with GF/EBV in April 2004. She gave NO advice whatsoever, I continued in school full time, didn't make any lifestyle adjustments... and now ever since, 4.5 years later I am totally disabled house/wheelchair bound with ME/CFS. If only I'd had this info back then :-(

  • Thanks for your comment.

Sorry to hear about your experiences with Epstein Barr. Unfortunatley this virus can trigger Chronic Fatigue Syndrome if you keep pushing through your symptoms. I hope you are able to start on some of these actions now - there is still hope that you can recover from CFS.

    Take care,

    Elizabeth

  • this freakin virus just beats you... i had it a couple of months ago and still to this date i feel tired...
