This song makes me a lot of emotions. My parents came from Iran to Israel, and they, like you, loved Iran, the Muslim neighbors and their Armenian neighbors. They also felt the cultural difference you mention in your song. I wish all the people of Iran, freedom, love, success, and that we could finally visit the country our parents came from. Who knows, maybe someday we can come to your show in Shiraz, the beautiful city of my parents.
@hadassim1 - One of my best friends while growing up in Tehran was Jewish and his family kept it a secret from everyone and I just recently found out. Another one of my friends was openly Jewish. My parents although were devout Moslems, were not prejudice against other religions and my friends were always welcome to my my house and we shared many meals together. I hate the fact that our country has been sabotaged by religious fanatics. Peace.
