The snare is way too slow in the 1st part of the interlude. Should be 4x. As it is the contrast with the groove part is weak. In fact there should not be any pauses at all. It would sound so awesome to go from the main riff immediately to the speed metal riff. More thrash, less korn.

@stereorail I like it just they way it is, some of my favorite songs by this band are like that. It should have that slow chunky groove not so fast like a lot of other speed metal bands. that's what gives obituary its unique sound. If you want faster playing then listen to a different band.
