Amendment 4 result............fail. Thank you for wasting more money on a worthless cause for revenge against the "Bailed-Out Bubble Builders" named in this video. Your motivations to get back at "the man" were clear to all.
Even now, with about 300,000 residential units sitting empty around the state, the push to build continues. Since 2007, local governments have approved zoning and other land use changes that would add 550,000 residential units and 1.4 billion square feet of commercial space, state figures show.
Any new changes to a land use plan in your neighborhood will still be voted on by your local government, approved by the State and then voted on by the you the residents at the next election.

Get your facts straight, its overextending buyers like you that crashed this economy. The construction companies provided supply, you fools provided the irresponsible demand which drove prices sky high. Speaking of corruption, the word on the street is your ultimate goal is to shut down ONE project in Tampa…….so let’s screw all of Florida for your hidden agenda, very irresponsible. Amendment 4 will destroy Florida, go back to being a hack lawyer, .
@MrPanda1980 Have you even read what the amendment is about?
Even if the people, and not the businesses were responsible, this is not what should be considered when voting for the amendment. It's implications for the common people should be considered.
@handofstand I have read and know all about Amendment 4….do you? Your conclusions are wrong, you imply that even though irresponsible “common” people crashed our economy we should give them the keys to land use changes. Common people, uneducated in land zoning have no business in the already dreadful development process. Amendment 4 will destroy the already painful Florida economy and job market so that angry, overextended and irreseponsible owners can get their "payback" on developers.
