Uncertain why the person posting this video clip put in the name of Alfred Hitchcock, who certainly didn't direct this movie. The director was Nicholas Ray.
Thanks for uploading. Great movie, great performances, great ending. Keeps you guessing, and in the end it's all about trust really. Have to say, I like how the main character sort of shifts from Bogart to Grahame, you don't get that too often.
@mrbeefy1515 What the fuck does Laurel have to apologize for? She loved him as much as she could, but her own safety and well-being finally became her main priority. Yes, her flaw is her instinct to run away from a failing relationship, but both Dix and Laurel are imperfect beings; their apologies are unspoken, and their brief love affair was their forgiveness of each other.
good acting

GREAT movie ! Bogart was such an intense actor ...
But, it was Nicholas Ray who directed "In a lonely place" :-)

TY for posting this. This is Bogart's finest role, imo, and a great performance by Gloria Grahame too

Lmao, skank doesn't even apologize for anything. Worthless pile of dogshit just like every other bitch in existence.
This should actually be considered a happy ending.
