  • Enjoyed it immensely. Thank you for sharing it with us.

  • This isn't Hitchcock this is NICHOLAS RAY

  • great movie thanks

  • Thank you very much for this upload, what a great film!

  • CLASSIC!!!!!!!

  • Nicholas Ray!!!!! NOT Hitchcock.

  • What a sad ending that was.

  • Why did I think of Mell Gibson all the time?

  • @slonamu

Mel Gibson??? If you think of him as Dixon Steele....in light of Mr Gibson's well known anger mgmt problems, I can't say I blame you!

  • thank you so much for posting this great film

  • WOW! Great motion picture...

  • the combination of the girl jumping to conclusions and humphrey bogarts short temper messed everything up...

  • C'est bon!

  • Bogart hasn't been this frightening since Treasure of the Sierra Madre.

  • It is not Hitchcock's but Nicholas Ray's movie.

  • Uncertain why the person posting this video clip put in the name of Alfred Hitchcock, who certainly didn't direct this movie. The director was Nicholas Ray.

  • right ending

  • This is so sad... How can anyone leave Humphry Boggart even if he is a murrder?!?

  • A depressing little tale.

  • A GREAT Film and great performances from Bogie and Gloria!

  • Thanks for uploading. Great movie, great performances, great ending. Keeps you guessing, and in the end it's all about trust really. Have to say, I like how the main character sort of shifts from Bogart to Grahame, you don't get that too often.

  • GREAT movie ! Bogart was such an intense actor ...

But, it was Nicholas Ray who directed "In a lonely place" :-)

  • TY for posting this. This is Bogart's finest role, imo, and a great performance by Gloria Grahame too

  • Lmao, skank doesn't even apologize for anything. Worthless pile of dogshit just like every other bitch in existence.

This should actually be considered a happy ending.

  • @mrbeefy1515 What the fuck does Laurel have to apologize for? She loved him as much as she could, but her own safety and well-being finally became her main priority. Yes, her flaw is her instinct to run away from a failing relationship, but both Dix and Laurel are imperfect beings; their apologies are unspoken, and their brief love affair was their forgiveness of each other.

  • @RubyTuesday717 lmao

  • Great sad lines on the phone.

"yesterday it would have meant so much....now it doesn't matter at all".

  • WHAT A CHARACTER!!

  • great movie
