he should mention not every guitar is set up for this and the set up is very crucial. Not to mention the gauge of strings makes a huge difference in sound.

GO LIGHT for strings if you want to divebomb. Going heavy may damange your bridge over time.

@billythebrainsoftain its not a dive bomb.....its more of a harmonic scream...............divebombs are kinda more about dropping the tension off the string and letting them.....go low and hang off the fretboard....:)

I have seen teachers do videos of how to do certain techniques on the guitar, but end up telling you a whole story etc. etc. theories of the technique....and it leaves me clueless on what the focus of the technique on the video is supposed to be. They just need to get down on the guitar and show you how to do it and that's it your done!!! Great video

hey mate, sounds rlly cool, sorry for maybe a stupid question, do you use a pedal to make them sound so Clear and beautifull?

i do a harmonic pressing my pick up and thumb down on the string than it sounds like you do it. but.... i cant give 10 pinch harmonics sounding like that in like uhhhh 3 sec

and if i do it the way it should be like you are showing, i get a lets say a 50 % harmonic

@2222Ruud2222 hey man how are you. No, i dont use any pedals. I do not own any really. The harmonics come from practicing the guitar for 5 hour days for years and years. I use to not be able to do them when first started playing guitar. but i can don anytime all the time now. if you look through my videos on my channel i have a lesson on how to actually do a pinch harmonic . so look for it on my channel. KEEP IN touch and if you need a better vid i could do a new one.

@amazingdevilnuisance pull your pick back so that not too much is showing. Let the string hit the fleshy part of your thumb as you pick the string - voila! artificial harmonics.

@amazingdevilnuisance You're gonna need some heavy gain at first until you perfect it. choke up on your pick to where your thumb hits the string as your pick does. downstroke. you'll feel it. Try it on the G first. when you get real good at it you can do it on all of the strings and on an upstroke with your forefinger too. It'll become second nature. :)

rather then grabing the pinch harmonic there is a method that is more gaureenteed by flicking the string with your middle finger adn using the pick to create the harmonic, well now that i started talking its hard to explain but im sure you can find a video, its the method i use and it is almost 100%

Thank you for you lesson. Now i know how to do this amazing trick. But there is only one problem. I play a Fender Stratocaster, and it sounds horrible on it. Do i need real humbucker guitar?(A real Rock guitar like a super strat).

@annolenno yeah man it sounds like a pickup issue! its probably because the strat pickups are all single coils and dont have very hot output. if you notice i have humbuckers on my bridges on all my guitars lol so my tone and distortion sound is really hot!!!! so get a humbucker!!!!!!!!! thanks for watching man!!!!! please subscribe and check out my album thats is out!!!!! the link is in the info box on my youtube page and ill send you a link!!!!

Yeah Man you get a pinch harmonic by picking the string with your pick...but at the same time allowing flesh from your finger hit the string as well .........creating a high pitch scream sound(harmonic)...............­..and also you can do a pinch harmonic on any guitar that has strings!!!!!  electric or acoustic!!!............ would you like me to put up a detailed video of how to do it?
