Its hard to believe it has been a year already. So much has happened and is happening. Its been a tough road for all of the Lakewood officers and personnel. Its a long healing process. He is greatly missed by all of us

@nedmorlef because the military doesn't approve of cameras during military funerals. my friend died in Iraq and was a high ranking officer( i believe a first lieutanent)..they wouldn't let us take video of the funeral..and monitored our pictures. they see it as a sign of disrespect to what they swore to do.

Although these events are very moving and very touching it is very difficult to see when it is one of your brothers in blue. Just watching this sent chills through my spine and sends a constant reminder of how NOTHING IS ROUTINE.....NOTHING.
