@typeman5 So you can use the touchpad while typing. Yes, I do believe. Check out the touchpad settings. I can't help more because sadly mine hasn't arrived yet.
My school has a scheme where you pay a certain amount a month for a couple of years to get a netbook packed with software. I think the next people to join the school in september should get these as they look very good for a netbook.
To insinuate that a Core 2 Duo (such as the SU9300) is slower than Atom is only true on technicality, it has a slower clock rate but certainly out performs, in benchmarks and actual performance, any Atom model thus far released. The AMD E-350 looks awfully nice as well -- which is what the Sony YB has -- but I'm sure it'll have some Sony premium pricing (perhaps $100).
@Kleptophobia Even the Celeron Culv 723 outperforms some of the latest laptop Atom processors. The 723 is basically the 1 core version of the Core 2 Due and it only runs at 1.2 ghz. I've got 2 laptops, one with the Culv 723 and one with the Atom 450 and the 723 outperforms the 450. And yeah. It's nice to see AMD on the netbook market now since they haven't really been for a long time. It'll make some competition and drop the prices.
@DJTEVAdotCOM and it'll cost like 2 grand for a cpu thats slower than an atom because they love there intel core 2 low power editions. I swear they just use those CPU's so they can put the core 2 sticker on the laptop...
is this computer worth getting? like how well will it runs game? not good at computers sorry
