@HorsieGal321 They schooled at night because the show starts extremely early, and this gives them a chance to get their horses out and warmed up.

@HorsieGal321 numbers must be worn at all times so that the horses can be identified - at most A and AA shows they even have to be worn while handwalking

I know they're just walking their horses out, but if that horse spooked at something she'd have no chance of getting control because her reins are so long. Proper equitation isn't just for when the judges are looking!

Welcome to the big leagues. If you are intimidated by teenage girls on horses just as nice as yours...maybe you're not cut out for it. Busy arena's happen. Your horses should be used to it and work with you as a team in your own zone. It's all part of the bigger levels - thankful I do Jumpers and Dressage. It gets nuts. When/If people are rude, it just means that they are insecure. So, just smile. Everyone can go, be awesome, have fun, & enjoy the gorgeous sport we all do & root each other on.

there wasn't even that many horses in a warm up arena at fair and we have 80+ riders! some with more than one horse. I know some kids were ponying too!
